What’re the chances soma will say something along the line of “muh diner dishes surpasses any gourmet dishes” or “muh dish made with feelings make anyone who eats it happy?” Or if they’re following yakitate japan, “muh dish can bring dead people back to life.”

Honestly, this is becoming more like psychology or drama series, rather than cooking. And for good or bad, this series made MKR’s recent drama looks good

Gilgamesh was still just an "owner" and not a "master" of the weapons he used. That was why Shirou was able to overcome him.

Souma would be more like... Astolfo, I guess? Multiple Noble Phantasms representing his power of friendship, varied methods and skills, but ultimately not super serious and cares about his friends above all else.

so next week soma vs asahi huh fast but let's be honest this so call blue wasn't interesting at all , mana ruin it for her selfish reason. the faster that asahi syndrome of superhuman bs thing ends the better i don't even care if soma gets an asspull I just want this asahi thing to end alongside that bad parent thing lol

Heard a rumour that the author actually wanted to end this ages ago but for whatever reason continued. Pushed by publisher or whoever maybe. Or maybe they simply want to milk this to it’s death.

So the latest chapter is titled The Curse of God’s Tongue eh

What’re the chances next chapters will be:
Dead god’s tongue
At tongue’s end
On god’s tongue
And finishes with Dead Tongue Taste No Flavour

Or:
Dead author/series’ struggle
At series’ end
On readers’ last chance

Damn, so we are finally in the semi-final. Souma vs Asahi.
Pretty sure many fans (if there are still that many left) would interest in Erina even more now.
Feels like she's the worst heroine in the current WSJ series right now lol.

but maaannnnn, this chapter is pretty solid, yo. that expression of somaaa, he somewhat feels so mature, what've happened to him within last night?. pretty much i like soma's expression when he said " you won't make erina happy" to asahi , it remind me of old soma.

and, that last scene where everyone of tootsuki including jou gathering look so good.

i'm hyped right now.

I'm also thinking Souma will most likely lose this one, but I still hope he wins. I don't want Erina to have to face Asashi in her current mental state. It looks like she might actually let him win even if she'd actually be able to beat him in her best condition.

he can't lose twice, y'know. since soma's potential can't be meassured and there's third factor like judges, the only matters is he should make better dish than asahi. on 2 chapter before we didn't get to see any dish at all because the advisor took maternity leave, so this time, both author and advisor might come up with better dish for soma to build his win for sure.

besides, soma vs erina in finals is what i'm waiting for.

this is a shounen manga... Souma might lost again
then in the final, where Erina vs Asahi would happen, Erina will forfeit and let Souma to replace her.. then Souma will win the final

Soma already lost once and everybody is gathering to watch his match this time. It's highly unlikely he will lose.

I think that authors are rushing the ending, well the rushing was in the central arc .
Well I think that what is left for the manga:

• Souma vs Asahi
• Souma vs Erina
• Souma give a plates that fix Erina's mother insanity.
• Souma vs his dad.

My guess is soma will lose to asahi, then he’ll help prepare Erina for her match against asahi. She’ll win of course, this being shonen and all. She would then make a dish that’ll cure her mother, with help from soma. They’ll kiss and whatnot, the end.

Then on their way home from blue, got into an accident and sent to another world. They’ll come to terms with being dead and proceed to conquer the other world’s culinary world. Repeat plot.
