Im reading the Word Master WN right now, and I just got to the part where the MC completely browbeats the "heroes"(his classmates) with their lack of skepticism. Harsh, but appropriate. The series as a whole is ok, but not as good as the Mushoku Tensei title or Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou imo.

I agree with you. Plot wise, the story is straightforward and lighter. It's steady with interesting characters, and cool protagonist ("There's nothing impossible for me to do!"), but not on the same level as mushoku tensei and arifureta. Another good thing from this, is about magic, magic is strong but dangerous at the same time, "rebound" is a good thing to remind about that. Author thought the story quite well~

Ah typical "tenshou" isn't it? This is obviously similar to Arifureta, but far more worse. One original thing about this title, which I like and made me read this is a gorilla as main heroine. Interestingly, I didn't find the "power of love" to be annoying in this one, dunno why... Sadly, the author decided to not update this regularly.

Really glad that Heroine Saria is still a gorilla~ expecting lovey-dovey with Gorilla~! as usual, good jokes (although too much tsukkomi, his tension is too high!), tempo is nice and does not get rushed. That last scene: "Final evolution + Special evolution + Bonus evolution" and Seiichi could only say "ah", is just ROFLMAO. namu namu, Seiichi, RIP.

Finished reading Waka Ikusa Kami this early morning, and it's not bad (Flag breaker is a good and bad thing I guess?). (new) God of war traveling with goddess of war to fantasy world. nice set of harem: Legal wife Floria, Cool deredere Brenda, Yamato Nadeshiko Elvira, Innocent mascot Tershe, Loli schemer Anrietta. It would be amazing if the story flow like ore ga heroine with slower pace~. OP protag with natural lady killer lines, no complain on that~

Currently reading 2 titles from Arianrose (Madoushi Heibon, and Imouto Yuusha). As a fan of otome love stories~ I have to read those!
Also currently reading : Explorer, Dragoon, Isekai Kansha, Arc Encounter, Metal Hagure, Hachi Otoko, Death Match, etc... dunno will I be able to finish them all this month!

TBH it was too much wish fulfillment for me. The protagonist is a pretty standard nice guy with no other redeeming features. I liked Arifureta, but the way this protagonist just lucks into power irks me. There is no training, skill, or cunning of his own. He wins his fights so far through sheer luck. Talk about unappealing. I could buy the whole getting more attractive thing, but him being a bore wasn't fixed. He has no real personality to me.

It also goes way beyond "game-like." Defeated monsters turn into gold, items, and skill cards. Like, what?

There is also the gorilla thing. Yeah, Saria somehow gets the power to turn into a perfect 10 woman through the power of love. Blegh.

I like most of your reccs, but this was a swing and a miss.

Ahaha~ as for me, Shinka no Mi is just one of "sweet snack" instead of a "main dish" to enjoy. I guess I forgot to add "which one has real plot or not". As for this title, to be honest: the plot is not clear. It's safe to say this is just another "honobono"~ Maybe you want to check gun-ota then?
