in the final episode, after saber defeats gilgamesh, he states that avalon was "untouchable even to the 5 magics," and on wikipedia it states that avalon is "comparable only to "true" magic."
so my question is: what are the 5 magics and what is "true" magic? |

I got a question that I still don't understand.
In episode 2 when Shirou gets stabbed by Lancers spear, I don't get the reaosn why Rin saves him with her jewel saying "No...Don't let this be happening...why did it have to be you?.." Was she going to save him anyway even if it was not Shirou? and why Shirou? Did she notice that he was another master (but still saved him? o.0) or did she have a secret crush on him or something? |

Ahh I thought so, thanks.
One more question. In episode 4 I recall when Saber is getting beat up by Berserker her eyes are colored red and when Shirou comes to save her, her eyes turn back to that green-ish color. for example here is the scene when her eye colors change. As shirou charges to rescue saber... Watched all 26 episodes and played the eroge along with ataraxia so go ahead and throw it at me |

I thought the red pupils just meant that she was being overtaken by battle-lust at that moment; she was going to go down fighting like a ferocious beast, without another thought for herself or what she's fighting for.
I feel the red pupils thing was overused in the anime. Gil having it was ok, but why Lancer? |

when Saber fought with assasin the second time
the assasin itself says that Sasaki Kojirou it's only a fictional character that grows on people hearts that Sasaki is strong... it's that really true that sasaki kojirou didn't exist on the real world?? thanks for the response... |

There is a documented historical master swordsman named Sasaki Kojiro. Documented in official government records.
However, Musashi never mentioned his duel with Kojiro in The Book Of Five Rings (but neither does he mention any other duels, so I don't see any point in that argument). Also, there is some chronological inconsistency with Kojiro's age at various points, so the question is raised: Was there ever really a swordman named Kojiro as we know him today? HOWEVER, his possibility for being real is 100,000,000x higher than ANY of the other Servants being real past heroes. Edit: Other than Alexander the Great, that is. Edit #2: Oh, The Old Man of the Mountain... also a real historical figure. Although he's more a Bin Laden than a super Arabian ninja. Last edited by mlai; 2006-08-16 at 08:42. |
