The latest episode shows a lot with Aoi and also Aoi finally realizing that Subaru was a lolicon <.< your too slow girl! so make your move already if not Subaru would just be taken to the dark side and never return.

And with this episode they will probably end the story in vol 4 which is probably a good one too end if they don't miss things up like animation and rushed stories. They change the order of things. They animate first vol 5 in one episode then rushed back to vol 4.

There are kids like that. And I can't entirely blame her, Subaru just found out again the problem with keeping a secret to avoid hurting someone. He didn't want to hurt Maho by telling her that they couldn't qualify for a match without five more girls, but the result was that she felt fooled, humiliated and betrayed when she found out. People handle those sorts of feelings their own way, and Maho apparently prefers to run her feelings off rather than let the offenders see her break down.

As far as the order change, this seems to be a very common scenario. Not all the light novels are as engaging as others, so the producers have to decide what part of the story would be most impactful as an end to the season/series(hopefully the former). It can be very hard to give everythingt a proper, full treatment and still hit the desired arc at the right time. If the arc is too far off, they either have to rush or move it forward. Here, like with a few series, it came just a little too soon, so they jumped forward a bit to fill in the gap with stuff that would come after. I'd say an end at this academy certainly looks like it will be better than an end at the beach, and it also looks like it will give us some more basketball for the conclusion.

At the speed this series is going, they can easily cap volume 4 tomorrow. The series will probably end with everyone attending a summer festival and watching fireworks or something.

Subaru & the girls at a training camp. Things didn't start well for them, but they managed somehow. Aoi still a bit jealous of the girls, her feeling towards Subaru are getting more & more obvious.
Yet another fun & relaxing episode ( ・ω・)

I like this episode because it had a Tomoka x Subaru alone-together scene. That's what lacking in past episodes.

Ah, we're finally back to basketball. The new loli seems fun, and will surely make a good rival for Maho.

And yet another bath scene in this episode. Are they trying to break a record or something? I can't recall the last time I've seen so many bath scenes in a single cour show.

Poor Miho, hopefully she gets better. The other team's sensei was a real bitch. Like how her sister noticed Aoi likes Subaru and was worried that he's a lolicon. Tomoka had some nice moments with Subaru.

Too bad he didn't inform them earlier about the 10 requirement. Though it's Maho's own big mouth that got her in trouble. Don't like how she always runs away though.

Interesting how the other girl has a bigger mouth then Maho. Seems like the whole school is stuck up. What did she even call Subaru when she saw him? Didn't expect him to be doing one-hand push-up, have to give him credit for that.

Every series has a particularly memorable line that people want on a T-shirt. (Most recent example I can think of is "20% Cooler".) This one's is... well, it's not unfitting.

Love all the Aoi parts, but I still feel the ending with Maho was needlessly dramatic -_- Whether she knows about needing 10 players or not has nothing to do with her and the team's current skill level -_- But now that they're down to four they definitely can't play...

Oh my. Looks like Subaru's team seriously needs more manpower. A good opportunity to complete all the possible Moe Moe tropes, isn't it? Unless they're trying to Moe-fy Dear Boys, that is.

Presumably if they make a second series they'll need to expand Subaru's harem recruit more players to enter a proper tournament.

I do hope they're not going to play the Big Melodrama card with Mihoshi's appendicitis, though.

Midonin Last Engage Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Florida	Spoiler for 69 Club 10 - Shooting Star: For an episode that bears Mihoshi's name in the title (that's not how it's read, but Japanese language is tricky like that), she was taken out of it pretty quickly. Most of the episode focused on the training camp and the visit to another school. Looks like Maho's found her rival in Miu, who's voiced by Mariya Ise (her voice is pretty distinctive). Not the first time those two have been rivals. Both Aoi and Subaru had their share of troubles - Subaru making a pretty bad first impression on Miu, and Aoi being quizzed on her possible romantic affections, which neither her nor Subaru are obviously willing to admit yet. I also liked the chatroom this week - a winter wonderland, featuring Maho as a jolly old St. Nick. Mihoshi wasn't properly dressed for such an environ, taking her off guard in the preview. Looks like the greatest enemy of the girls' basketball team may be another girls' team.
