"[Printing Cessation Notice]

Due to various circumstances, the series being published in this magazine, "Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Force" is being placed on long-term hiatus.

To all of those looking forward to this series' serialization, we apologize for the inconvenience. In order to deliver the "Force" title, and the characters born from it, at their best, a conference between the editorial department, as well as Tsuzuki-sensei and Higa-sensei, has come to the decision to put the series on this long-term hiatus.

We humbly request your understanding."

This is incredibly sad for the Nanoha series. I mean, right now it really feels like Nanoha existed just to be milked for money.

To me, it's more like Tsuzuki always have been biting more than he could chew.

Not wanting your customers to receive a product at less than its best is totally understandable, though. If he were trying to milk it he'd probably roll it out regardless.

THe question is now what, get a new artist or shut it down. I guess part of it depends on popularity of force to other projects the company is working on. still maybe if they get a new artist Tsuzuki can look at what he has created and make some improvements instead of just moving like a machine to get the next volume out.

Honestly I think Higa should just drop her other projects and focus on Force.

On the positive side i hope Tsuzuki gets to invest this time to take a breath, look at what he has done so far and take a good reflection in order to come back with fresher writting and more flexible developement.

I wouldn't particular mind a new artist. One in particular that can do smoother actions scenes, because Higa-san's aren't that impressive, and are even repetitive like the clashing panels. Get someone on par with Kubo-san or CHO Jung-man, who does Witch Hunter. Now, they can do action scenes.

I like Force's backgrounds, though.

And more seriously, I'm not sure if Kubo could make the characters look consistent with previous works in his art style. Yukari at least did that.

I really hope this doesn't end up like Shina Dark. Hopefully things calm down for a bit so that the remainder of the series can re-start afresh like Akiyoshi said...
This really does seem like a good opportunity for Tsuzuki to look back and re-evaluate and better the series. Granted, he is probably going to prioritize Reflections right now but this does seem like a chance for the series to get off on a better start.

Aww please don't go there, I'm still in denial that that series has ended, I refuse to believe it!

Maybe thats why Force is going on hiatus, Higa Yukari is going back to Shina Dark!(note my faint hope here)

I will remain optimistic about this returning as I rather do enjoy this quite alot for what it is

You know, as much as I like Force (I still do follow it), I'd actually prefer that Higa go back to Shiina Dark. Not only would Higa have more creative leeway, but it's also a story that seriously needs a resolution. The Nanoha franchise can survive without Higa, just get a different artist; Shiina Dark cannot.
