He has the scar on the same place as the guy she used to play with? Could he be the one, or is it just coincidence? If that's the case, then why does Onodera has another key? to who did she make a promise with? She claim's it's him but could he really make the same promise to the 2 girls ?

it always possible that the locket have two keys, one is actual, the other is spare in case the one lost, so may be one of them (the one hold the key, make a promise two times with different person, and now they involved in unknown promise in the past triangle

This could end pretty much quickly with this progression, but...the mangaka could always stall it after a couple of chapters or bring up another arc after this

Even if the tsundere girl somehow realized that her 'darling' is someone that she liked in the past, there's still some time for her to finally accept her feelings. Not to mention that we could always has a plot where the main triangle romance will hinder her acceptance of her feelings

A love story that revolves around a childhood promise is really restricted. There is no room for harem. When I think of a story like that, I am reminded of Love Hina (the manga). As long as Chitoge doesn't let too much of her tsundere spill out, Chitoge x Raku will easily be shipped. =)

Kosaki's character is problematic though. Since she likes Raku, if Chitoge x Raku gets shipped, Kosaki is going to get hurt. T_T

Just because it didn't happen in Love Hina, doesn't mean there can't be potential for more story after the childhood promise thing is cleared up.

I don't mean limited in story, but limited in the number of candidates that Raku can ship with, namely Chitoge and possibly Kosaki.

well, the bath scene is quite typical for a harem manga... but Claude really do a great job in giving Raku more chance to get Chitoge's flag

Also its pretty much given everyone already knows whose raku's first love.
so why is he shitting bricks.

All he needs to do is repeat what he's been saying at the start, and just repeat, the girl who gave me this locket... then man grunt and walk away.
