Well while it felt pointless at times, it was still a funny enough episode. Poor Rin just can't ever become popular . Was nice though to dive into his cooking past a bit to show how he got this good. Makes sense since cooking was the first thing he managed to do well and people were happy about. Funny how he made that bond with Ukobach through the duel .

Was good at the end too to have Yukio forced to eat all 3 lunches. His inability to be upfront and face the issue with those girls did lead to that point. At least he ate them and resolved it for now. Not sure if the cooking was bad or just easting that much food at once made him sick.

A good filler episode (if we were going in order) and especially funny Really does explain the social status between the brothers even though we could already tell.

ep6 was a hoot. It's fun to see Yukio loose his cool, in-control, mask like this. Dang, those fangirls are freaky.

Poor Rin is not getting the credits he deserve. At this rate, looks like only Yukio may fall in love with him.

Damn, that was a terrific episode. I was struggling to contain my laughter all through out. And what's great is that Yukio finally got trumped by Rin this time. Not that I hate Yukio but it is great to see Rin get some unjust revenge.

This is what I call a good filler episode. It was a good idea to expand on Rin's cooking skills which were shown in the first episode. The flashback explaining how and why he got so good was wonderful.

Yukio has started to grow on me with this episode. A little more and I'll stop seeing him as nothign more than a walking fujoshi bait.

I went through the whole ep6, enjoying every bit of it, and saw the preview for ep7 before I realised:
"wait, that was a filler episode I just watched wasn't it?"

everything just feel so genuine and fits into the existing tone so well.

It surprised alot of people when they figured out it was just a filler episode Shows how good they can capture the reactions of the characters without the need for the manga.

Finally watched eps.6

This is my comment, no offense, this is just my opinion

i'm dissapointed with this episode because rin become "more close" with Yukio and it more looks like yaoi incest because the jokes mostly between in rin and yukio

dunno why.. maybe i'm rage because many people say this is yaoi anime or something, but if the jokes include the girls character (yeah shiemi and some-random-girls appeared on this episode but they do not do much) i think people will don't think like that. And if the anime compared with the manga, the anime much have fanservice and so-random than the manga

maybe i prefer the manga and i see the anime is much "random"
i mean, if they want to make the anime "more different" than manga, i think they should make battle scene more exclaimed or slice-of-life scene don't mostly between boy characters. It would make the anime more plain

because i read the manga and i think ao ex have a good storytelling
and the anime (until this moment) just too relaxed

They aren't close at all, specially compared to other anime brothers. The way they interact isn't...strange...at all but normal for siblings.

I don't get it why people says it's yaoi. I really can't get it. I mean, they're brothers, and they're their very only family to themself. And besides, they're not even half closed as Ed and Al from FMA. Rin has big-brother-not-so-big complex, and Yukio obviously is a little jealous because Rin is strong willed: so they have conflicts. Overall, I can see me and my brother on them, even if actualy I'm a girl and we don't have these problems (but have others).

Oh, for cry out loud. There're Kaiji and Akagi yaoi fanarts on pixiv... a lot, a looooot of those fanarts. For Kaiji. And Akagi. I was really scared when I saw it. I mean... what's more non-yaoi than Kaiji and Akagi? And however, there they are, tons of yaoi fanarts. It's just natural in pixiv to be full of those works.
