Manga 'Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet' (Juliet of Boarding School) is getting a TV anime adaptation.

Plot Summary

Grigio Academy Boarding School. The students that attend this school come from two countries, and reside in their own dormitories. Inazuka and Persia are leaders of rival dorms, but in secret they love each other. Now, they have to keep their relationship a secret from their dorm mates or else bad things will happen to them.

Saw the first episode today and I got what I expected out of this. I'm ok with the OP song so far.

Right off the bat, we meet the school setting with prestigious students. There's a elegant atmosphere with the high class uniforms and environment. Romio stands out because he is somewhat of a hothead.

Also, there's Juliet and Hasuki introduced. Pretty much an introductory episode in general in terms of the storytelling. I think they tried to make all the guys look very gentleman-like with the exception of Romio. Only 12 episodes for this and the manga is still ongoing but I'll keep my hopes up.

I actually kinda like the atmosphere of the show.

I was watching the entire episode with a stupid grin on my face. <3
Loved the OP, loved how Persia got a tough voice and has a dream on her own that is not about going steady with the boy she likes (as we still haven't heard her say she loves Inudzuka though she accepted his confession and agreed to go out with him) but to change the world to accept woman like her as noble leaders not just men. Also loved how goofy Inudzuka was and how sensible he truly is compared to his rough appearance. It is clear who of the two will be the cool, level-headed one and who will be the emotional, worried mess. Just look at that ending. xDDD

The confession while sword-fighting was great as was the conclusion in the water. Inudzuka saying he wants to share and help Persia with her dream was so sweet~

Next episode we get "Juilo" and ofc Inudzuka being all happy and goofy that the girl of his heart loves(?) him back. <3 <3 <3

I will surely watch this till the end!

Urgh, subbing the name as Persia is a terrible choice. Perucia is much better...

Oh, and the Hasuki / Sakura Ayane combination is terrific!

Unfortunately, it's the official spelling of the name they decided upon from the anime's website.
Similarly, Cybelle is most likely going to be called Sieber.

Problem with "Perucia" is that there's generally a stronger emphasis on the "ru" syllable, which is given pretty much no emphasis here. I'd say Persia is closer to the intended sound.

Not a bad episode. Fights were pretty good (and they didn't even bother with the "magic skirt" trope here, just kept it subtle until directly applicable), the romance was sweet, I rather enjoyed it.

Fripside for opening song in a romance anime felt little bit weird.. it looks like this anime is going to become a serious one

about the adaptation, somehow I think the art is the greatest part
I didn't expect the episode 1 is going to be this good... Inuzuka is not that annoying, while Perucia's cuteness is overwhelming
the VA is definitely great help

I hope they managed to make the boring part become interesting for the adaptation.. because the plot is going to move slowly from now

Yeah, when you look at 1 page Tomo-chan series even this series look slow by comparison.

Oh nice Kayanon is main heroine, she sounds nice and swee... oh WTF Ayaneru is Hasuki? It's like Nisekoi all over again with me vastly preferring the sub-heroine mainly because she is voiced by my favourite VA (or in this case 2nd most favourite).

And elementary school rivals? If Bakugo and Deku are considered as childhood friends within the source, I guess I can't lose here. XD

Heck, there actually was an eroge anime several years back that this reminds me too much of. But by the time I reached the end of the episode, I realized it wasn't. And it wasn't. Apparently this is a manga adaption. In a bad way. Anyways, I found it pretty boring. I will give it points for actually getting the guy to confess in the first episode instead of dragging the confession on, but that is about it. The setting isn't particularly interesting, the characters are not interesting, the story was not interesting. Oh, but I think the animation was fairly good. I don't know, there are a lot of anime on this day.
