But now you point it out it, I do see some people might do it. Either for an easy way out or a challenge. Either way you do have a point KiNa

Don't think the theme is that hard, and it still leaves you enough room for artistic freedom.
And from the 5 or 6 SOTM(or 7?) so far only one animated sig has won. So animation isn't a must, if looking at the past than making a animated sig is in no way a advantage. There might of been a advantage in the first few month where a lot of biased animated votes were casted. But even than it was a static sig coming out on top. I don't have a thing against animated sigs, especially if people can add a nice animation to a already good looking static sig. But it seems a lot of people spend a lot or to much time in the animation itself, and just quickly put together a background/image to accompany the animation. Which might explain why it has still been static sigs that has been dominating the SOTM, simply because people spend all their effort in that. Not trying to discourage people from making animated sigs. But aah well, take my word for what you think it's worth.

Hmmm Ill probably try something. Everyone says all they can think of is winter but the first thing that popped into my head was Sakura blossoms so I was thinking spring. I dunno what Ill end up doing though but props to Icy for a very creative theme. d(~_~)

Woot! I like this theme for sure, going to enter this time, have to get over to this site more often.
I think summer and winter are both the easiest, still, finding some beach renders are always a solid backup, should be okay. |

Hmm. I really don't want to ask since the rules was kinda clear, but I'm very unsure.
To my understanding, the renders can be mostly anything? The render I'm using is the same dragon as in the sig I'm currently using. Is that ok or does it have to be human?
