Who is Obito?

What Manga and what episode explains about Obito? This is the first time I heard this name come up.

No episode or chapter of the manga explaines anything about Obito yet.

His name was mentioned once cant remembere exacly when and all we know is he is somehow connected to Kakashi that’s it.

If I recall correctly it was first mentioned during Sandaime's funeral and again infront of the sweets shop when Itachi came back to Konoha.

Obito is a now-deceased acquaintance of Kakashi. Kakashi visits the memorial every morning, which is why he's always late. He also seems to blame himself for his/her death. That's all revealed during the Third's funeral. That's basically all we know; there's a popular theory that Obito is the Uchiha from whom Kakashi got his Sharingan, but it's completely unsupported.

Also, the female ANBU was there for Hayate, not Obito.

Hayate was the examiner in the chuunin exam during the preliminary matches. He was always sick and coughing, and his full name is Gekkou Hayate.

If you read the manga, Kakashi tells Sasuke that the two most important people in his life are deceased. I would assume the people in his team are the most important people in his life. E xcluding Iruka sensai Naruto considers Sasuke, Kakashi, and Sakura the most important in his life and they are on his team . Everyone in the picture with Kakashi when he was little is dead, kinda sad

Thats a toss up. Yondaime could have been one of those importaint people that died. Usually teacher and student become very close. You can see that with Lee and Gai. Now too with naruto who is become close to jiraiya very fast.
Also like you mentioned, naruto has important people like iruka sensei. Who is more important to naruto? Iruka sensei or sakura? Its hard to say. But definitely obito was one of those close people to kakashi.

To those who are japanese. Is obito a male or female name?

Obito could be the girl (or boy) indeed, but weren't they speculating that the boy is Asuma?

Anyway, it's also possible that that girl is an Uchiha and Kagashi has his Sharingan from Obito/that girl.
