New chapter (as far as I know) but no new episode. The next episode is supposed to be a double, airing on 27 Sept. They have no reason to not release a new chapter (again, only as far as I know) so I would expect it to come out as scheduled.

I think madara is still alive he probably was serious injured during his fight with shodamie but i think he's been biding his time to set up his plans.

but i have 1 theory

maybe tengu never lost against madara maybe him and shodamie fight was of a result of madara not being who he claim he was thus having a battle.
he was presumed to be dead and fled knowing that he coludn't return and do things himself and employing itachi to do his dirty work. cause if he killed of the only people alive that might stand a chance against him the uchiha clan he would have the power to complete his plans.

Now as some point he need to get his orginal body back because in madara body he's mortal so thats where sasuke and naruto comes into play so he need 3 ms users and the kyubii charka to release the seal and was probably interested in Oro for he's body transfer/absorption jutsu to merge madara body and his demon body to make some type of super being i dunno it late and I am brain storming lololol

Yeah, Kishi never really went into great depth about Rin did he and what *REALLY* happened to her. I can remember when everybody & their dog thought "ohoh BH akatsuki is Rin for sure," well that was dissolved sure enough.
