Legend Replays Itself : Crane Stance Kungfu Used To Ward Off 2 Tigers

Zoo visitors in China were astonished to see a crane fight off attacks by tigers after it became trapped in their enclosure.

According to the Fuyang Wildlife Park, the red-crowned crane entered the pen through a hole in the fence.

It was later rescued by zookeepers and is said to be making a swift recovery from minor injuries.

For those who studied some Chinese martial arts, legend stated that the Shaolin Crane Fist originated from a monk who saw crane defeating a tiger playing by the maxim of 不攻自破 (meaning to let something collapse on itself without attacking).

the Japanese film company that owns the rights to Godzilla, is suing the producers of an upcoming kaiju movie. They charge that the people behind Colossal, in which Anne Hathaway plays a New York woman who travels to Tokyo after discovering she has with a psychic link to the beast, are “brazenly producing, advertising, and selling an unauthorized Godzilla film of their own.”

The charges come from a pitch email for the film that was sent to potential distributors and investors and included an image from Gareth Edwards’ 2013 Godzilla reboot as well as the phrase, “Tokyo is under attack by Godzilla and a giant robot.”

Director and now co-defendant Nacho Vigalondo may have also unwittingly contributed to the demise of his own film in an interview given last year where he said, “It’s going to be the cheapest Godzilla movie ever, I promise. It’s going to be a serious Godzilla movie but I’ve got an idea that’s going to make it so cheap that you will feel betrayed.” Production company Voltage Pictures doesn’t look very good in all of this either, considering the company filed mass lawsuits against people who illegally appropriated its intellectual property by downloading movies in 2010 and 2013.

Here's more funny stuff, the studio being sued, Voltage Pictures, is in fact known for suing people who torrent their stuff, Hurt locker and Dallas Buyers Club. Most recently they started in Australia and Singapore, getting the addresses of the people who downloaded Dallas Buyers Club

Chinese Man's Seventeen Girl Friends Meet Up at His Hospital Bed

A Chinese man who was caught cheating on 17 girlfriends at once has been arrested for fraud.

The man from Hunan province made headlines last month when all 17 women discovered each other when they rushed to his hospital bedside.

The allegation of fraud relates to sums of money which he regularly took from the deceived women, according to the South China Morning Post (SCMP).

The women set up an online chat group called "revenge alliance", SCMP said.

It was on this chat group that they discovered he would ask some of his girlfriends for money every month, the paper said.

The man, identified only as Mr Yuan from the city of Changsha, in Hunan province, is reported to have had a child with one of the women and had been planning a wedding with another.

Sounds like a good plot for a hentai harem story. Rather like Tsugou no Yoi Sexfriend with a larger cast though with the added revenge factor of course.
