Checked the raws from the original novel site and got some illustrations won't post them cuz some are ...echhi , anyways this is how our MC looks like

Also, I know the MC is most likely to follow the girls and help them in whatever it is they need (if it's not something evil) but I just wish he reminds them who exactly is on the chain of command here.

Yea no idea how many parts of chapter one remain. It seems like it's long but that may be because we are on part 6.

Well, LN chapters ARE supposed to be long. It's just that everyone has gotten used to WN chapters the size of KNWM or Magicraft Meister chapters.

Looks fairly standard for the most part, except the summoned beast contract being inverted is kinda interesting change.
Might be good, might be boring, will need to wait for more before judgement.

uhm? the dumb girls have to notice yet that they are not the master.... they get slave collar but they went again with "i am the master, amazing right? " stupids....
and he iS OP but why i fear he will lead by the nose all the time only cause he has zero resistance vs girls?....

Nope, he's not a herbivore..But he is not a carnivore either.
He just have a resistant towards the girl (not blushing or flustered).
Well, it's only 2 volumes so far so maybe his nature will change later.

About he playing with the leopard(iirc) girl's ear, it's because she hides some secret regarding her origin and he teased her so she spill the beans.
