I see, so it is like in the good ending the hero ends with the heroine right? I was wondering about that this since depending on which one it was I could somewhat guess what could happen next.

So he is boss-tier, at least above midd-boss. Good for the hero, even if he doesn't join the party, having him around will help. Also, I just noticed how the fiance changes her expression from the first cover to the second. Nice.

First one is when they meet when they were 10 years old and in the second one they are 13 years old, so in these 3 years she already has fallen for him.

Edit: So, I finally finished reading all the chapters released and how to say it

After doing his best to prevent a event to would have ended with the death of many knights, it ends up with him being sentenced to death due to being suspected of being a spy (due to being part of his plan he was wearing the clothes of a enemy country soldier) and even thought they managed to take back his sentence, he became infamous in the whole country, and is hated in the same way he was in his family territory. By the way, vol 3 of the wn story seems to have a time skip of 5 years (from vol 1 to 2 it was 3 years) and start with him meeting Lifa, a loli self-proclaimed genius inventor and a future companion of the hero party in the game, and a traveler and seems to be interested in knowing more about him named El, although nothing much has happened since right now it seems to be a flashback on how they managed to save Harold from his death sentence.

Chapter 7 and 8 are out in translator site, also new raw chapter since 1 week ago.

Too bad that is has irregular updates for new chapters since chapter 48, now that it seems like the main story of the game is about to begin I am wodering which role will Kazuki/Harold have on it with the changes he has made now.

Speaking of, I just caught up with this one after putting it on hold for a while....... Harold's tsundereness is utterly completely & absolutely delicous on every bite It's as if I'm eating cake on every chapter

Don't forget about Erika as best heroine (well, she is the only one so far but even so), her reaction when harold praised and called her by name for the first time was really good.

Just finished chapter 9 and yes, Erika is great. Is not often that a character utterly wins me over with only one scene.

No, no yandere yet. At most Erika is really protective of MC because she wants to be of help but she is not a yandere crazy and insane.

So back to the present and with El/Eru and Lifa seeing just how much OP is Harold, well as expected of a boss character that needed the Hero's party to fight as a group to beat. I am still wondering who is El/Eru though, somehow I get the feeling that he/she was a important character in the game.

I find it funny that everyone thinks Harold is some super genius who feels lonely that no one could understand him(which is true as he's an otherworlder) and that all his actions are really calculated and deep(especially if they heard him monologuing to himself which are actually VN script).

But in actual fact it was just coincidence, misunderstandings and a little bit of his wimpy side which made him misfire some powerful looking magic that makes people think he's strong and cool.
The more he tries to change the story the worse it becomes for him...poor guy.

I wonder if he still has a simple minded thinking or he has been slightly steeped in the dark side and matured a little (since he's running errands for the lab right now right? Under the evil scientist mastermind.) That machinery he put in the crater....I hope its not something that makes the volcano erupt. He seems to think its a monitoring device but I think its not that harmless.

That El fellow was said to be the information dealer that pops up occasionally to the hero party right? I think he might be following Harold around after gaining interest on him during this trip. Or Harold being his guard to those random places as I don't see El with much self-protection ability as of yet. (Of course he might be hiding his capabilities at the moment) But Harold will gain a strong supporter if El really does throw his lot in with him.

People misunderstanding his actions is one of the amusing things that happens, although he often means well after all. Things have been slowly deviating a bit from the original events after all, especially with him doing his best mostly for his survival.

Latest chapter shows just how much more he's grown since the time skip, impressively so. Also remember that the hero eventually becomes stronger than him in the game...but then again, as the fate of things change...
