Does anyone know how far along the manga is, in terms of volumes? Is it still on-going or is it a completed project? Thanks.

I answered this question several pages back.
The anime will cover all of volumes 1 through 5, and most of volume 6.
Volume 6 comes out next month.

The manga is currently running in monthly magazine Sunday GX, and it's only 3 or 4 episodes away from what the anime will cover.

Meaning, if you want a third season, it's gonna be a LONG wait... like almost 2 years of wait lol.

anyways, spoiler for episode 16...

On the contrary, I was actually hoping that the series would end with Season Two. I like closure, and tend to hate it when anime drag on without conclusion. From what you said, it seems like Second Barrage may be the end of it, with a very open ended, non-conclusive finale (that is, under the assumption the manga doesn't end at vol. 6 or anytime soon). Anyway, thanks for the info!

All the manga story will be burned out by the end of 2nd Barriage, and I suspect there will be a filler arc -- if 2nd barriage also has 12 ep, it is almost impossible to fill all of them out with the 3 arcs left in manga.

Oh, man, Shenhua is BACK! 8)

The clientele of the Yellow Flag is a hilariously delicious bunch. The start of the new arc was great and it was exactly the right episode to show after the depressing Twins Saga.

Spoiler for Episode 16:

That was good ol' Black Lagoon I know and love. Fun stuff. Next episode should be a treat as well, if the preview is correct. 8)

Like I said, I did not catch her name... however, she is still white, since Indian people belong to the caucasian race, as far as I remember.

*blink*

The term 'White' is generally used to refer to people of European descendants, of which most Americans are part of, since their ancestors migrated from Britain. If you call an Indian 'White', be they be Native Americans or Asian Indians, you're going to get stared at.

Cheers.

India is made up of many diffrent races....
You're probably refering to the caucasoid, aryan race that lives in the north of India.
While they are caucasian, they are not normally termed "white", for their skin is dark complexion.

If you ever see them, you'll know what I mean. They look nothing like your typical "white" caucasian.

Wait, wait! I haven't watched this yet but from the looks of it, isn't the story of episode 16 supposed to come after the Fujiyama arc? The corresponding chapter is still sort of new, and they're already animating it? Quite a change this is. Then again, it's not as if it hasn't been done before in the anime.

Well, that's not too surprising. After all, how evil are the twins really, in a backdrop of drug dealers, gun-runners, slave-smuggling (which caused the twins to become as they are), daylight piracy, and protection rackets?
Balalaika and Chang both admit they lost the right to preach morality long ago.

To us peaceful civilians, the Twins might seemed irredeemably corrupt. But to the eyes of the Black Lagoon characters, they are merely more corrupt than usual.
