Question Is the New Shin Getter Robo OVA 2004 file Corrupt?

Hi I'm new to this forum. I am asking this because I've tried to download this file twice and each time when I try to open it, Windows Media Player Crashes. Also when I browse the folder that its in Windows Explorer crashes also. I'm wondering if I need a special codec or something to display it in a thumbnail and to get it to play. Has anyone else had this problem. Please clue me in here because I really want to watch the new getter robo series.

Problem like this are probably codec issues... use g-spot to see what you are missing... also download and install the newest xvid codec... that should fix the issue

look in the playback section of the forum to solve your problem. ffdshow alpha solves 99% of playback problems.

It's not the file, that's for sure. I played it fine.

Thanks for all the help everybody. It turned out that I needed to update my XVid Codec as I apparently still had the beta version (coulda sworn I got rid of that). Anyway it works now so and you have my gratitude.

I'm having the same exact problem as you except with the first episode of Tetsujin 28-gou. I thought I updated Xvid too, however it still didn't work. Where did you get your update? Please tell me, I'd be so thankful!

I think I picked up the XVid Codec off of the official website but I may be wrong. Oh and don't watch it in WMP because sometimes there are trails when the screen scrolls. It works pretty good in DivX Player.
