A sentence like "the anime itself has at last shown the potential to support sub-forum level discussion." is open to any number of interpretations.

Oh please please please let the already jaw-droppingly good quality of Episode 4's fight choreography be an appetizer to the truly epic battles of the episodes to come.

Will have to admit I was a bit less familiar with the Lupin reference. Had heard the name in a few different kinds of shows so had at least heard it, but definitely when it came to Holmes foes Moriarty is about the only one I can remember.

Lupin was more of a rival to Holmes in the sense of a well-received book series, and each one was compared to the other because of their similar subject matter. The characters are both fictional and never actually met each other in any of their books except for the "Arsene Lupin versus Herlock Sholmes" series of tales.

You can guess that they had to swap around the letters' of Holmes' name because of copyright issues from the Sherlock Holmes novels' original author.

well actually Lupin is a character from a French novelist kinda like Sherlock Holmes they were both around during the same era ^^ he was kinda the French version of Holmes only he was a thief and Holmes was a detective

Dorodere comes from the Japanese ドロドロ, which means messy.

Means someone who's messed up inside.

She's not* Yandere.

Yandere is when you go crazy over the person you 'love'. Everything related to him must be yours.

Riko isn't like that.

The dere part of Yandere specifically relates it to all matters dealing with 'love' or 'romance', therefore Yandere is inaccurate, since she doesn't go crazy over those things.

plus yandere attacks the love rivals. Riko doesn't do that. Though except for Aria which is family/friend rival and not love rival.

It should be pointed out, however, that the sub-par quality of the discussions in the Hidan no Aria thread itself was the major delaying factor for any serious sub-forum consideration.
Ouch. Looks like we need to kick up the momobread and shimapan discussions up a notch, people!

I know. It's my fault, right? I should have never have asked for that submarine forum

Wait a minute... don't tell me I was the catalyst with those gif avatars. I know that's the most likely thing holding it back, considering requests weren't being fulfilled until now

Don't confirm it because I can pretty much guess, it's probably like, but not limited to:

-post count
-novel source
-manga adaption
-the inundation of image requests

I should thank you though, my browsers were already at their limit with those gifs and posts in the same page
