It is indeed a little abrupt, but i don't find it so bad, i mean, it is quite a good read, both the MC and heroine are far from your typical archetype.

I read the last 2 translated chapters only today and... I laughed as fuck reading chapter 7. Sadly there's no one translating the novel, and I don't have time to learn japanese because of other languages.

at one point, mofumofu was going to do the LN but then stop. it is a shame that it didn't happen. i like the characters in it. if what images i have seen are true, the MC still has alot of his cool from before but needs to act with a certain amouint of kindness to keep the girl going forward so they can survive. she needs someone who thinks positive of her and that where he comes in.

I should have guessed from his fake name, but the MC is actually a vampire (well, a half-vampire), the strongest class of monster. When asked why would he train Merida when she might come to hunt him in the future, he said "When that time comes, I will gladly give up my head for her.........That's the oath of assassin teacher, it is my assassin's pride"

It is enjoyable novel. the combat system in this novel is interesting. I like how this novel integrate RPG game's status number (HP, MP, ATK,DEF etc..) into the combat and each character have to calculate the different between their own status and enemy status and use them to their advantage.

true, but what would stronger then a paladin. I would laugh out if she is a sealed angel because it her last name plus it would go parallel with her teacher. It can't be that cliche
