I know why they continue to take things from Tim and give it to Dick but it doesn't soften the blow at all. Just like they took out Stephanie Brown in the DC reboot and gave everything good about her to the new Barbara. It's like DC has put out a mandate to shaft the later generations of mask wearers and give anything that was good to the originals.

No they weren't, Tim used the staff since he started out on his own as Robin. Nightwing stuck to the mini-sticks, the game has him combine it into Tim's staff and even uses moves that Tim uses with said staff. So yet again Dick pilfers something that is Tim's. Though Tim fans are used to getting Tim treated like dirt and Dick stealing all his glory and acting like it's his.

Eskrima sticks CAN be combined into a single long staff. Just because they seem to be part of Tim's old rod doesn't mean Dick automatically stole Tim's stuff. Hell, who knows, Tim might even be in this game.
And perhaps even Jason. Now that would be insane. |

Tim's chances of making the roster are very small. Ed Boon said that the roster (comprised of 24 slots sans DLC) will be half heroes and half villains. That being said, we don't want to see an over-representation of Batman characters, do we? For the sake of diversity, DC has plenty of other non-Batman characters that are more deserving of a spot than Tim Drake.

That wont happen, they couldn't even give Tim his own team in Young Justice. It was "safer" to use Dick, a convienent excuse to steal things from Tim and Jason than giving it to Dick. Just like DC has stolen everything good about Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain and pilfered it to Barbara. Which is only more insulting since DC has a mandate out saying Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown are not allowed to be used by any of their writers(Ot any forms of Media), instead they must settle for Barbara. So this is just another insult added to the long list that DC has dished out to those like Tim. |

one thing that bothers me here is that NightWing doesn't have a head protection like Flash and Batman. Grundy can easily smack his head off or if he gets piledriver to the pavement.
Oh well it's a fighting game....

Hmm, why do I have the feeling that Nether realm will rely solely on bringing back the cast from JLU and Arkham City just to sell the game? I mean I'm glad they're adding these characters, but, I just can't help thinking that the game will just be an HD version of MK vs. DC with the stage interaction made famous in MK?

They never seem to add John Stewart or Guy Gardner to represent earth's GL huh? It's always Hal^^;;. Hmm, you think Mark Hamill will return to do this role? Or are they gonna give it to someone else? I'd settle for John DiMaggio.

Well, Guy Gardner is not the most popular Green Lantern around.....
As for John Stewart, I think among other things would be his relatively more solid ground than Hal Jordan. We have someone who is relatively immune to the weakness against yellow and whose willpower apparently exceeds that of the ring. Given that the scenario is probably of superheros being corrupted for some reason, Hal seems a more likely target than John. Among one of the screenshots, there is this part that bugs me: Who could that be? Would that person be the source of the events behind the scenario? |
