actually it more diverse than that. is depending on source of light novel and how close is the adaptation.

while most of them, like toradora takes about 2-3 episode to finish 1 volume (25 episode for 10 volume)

also consider they are new studio, very unlikely that they make 25 ep anime.

Seikon no Qwaser was animated by Hoods Entertainment, a new studio who want to make this title 24 episodes following the story of first eighth manga volumes, while the last fourth episodes will include the heavy original plot.

anime is okay-good adaption if compare to novel. it is bit rushed and miss some of the content. but nicely put major plot point on novel to anime

plus i said unlikely that they make 25 ep anime. doesnt mean they cannot do 25 anime.

Given how good the mecha action scenes and CG look in addition to the nice character designs and background art, based on zephyr325's earlier post since I don't know the details of the story, I hope this is successful enough for more seasons so that we can actually see them take on what they're actually going through all this training/duels to face so that we can also get into a bigger story.

I'm more excited about the OP(for those who still hasn't listen to it http://nicosound.anyap.info/sound/sm12858144)/ED at the moment. First episode probably won't have much going on, but Straight Jet is very awesome (Kuribayashi <33). ED is Mio-tan (another reason why you should support Houki above all others =P) and I have high hopes for Super Stream.
