Very bad. My favorite frontliner is still stuck on E-6 final dance. He has wasted almost 100k steel on that very map already and still far from clearing it.

I don't see anyone clearing E-6 hard very soon. He's out of options too. Everyone is saying there must be a gimmick for that map.

No, the boss for E6 is called Central Hime. It couldnt be Iowa since the girl survived the war and is still standing. Fans speculated that she's actually Pearl Harbor or Hawaii.

Just beated E1, needed 11 try. For once the FCF was useful for once. Best drop so far a Mutsu on the 4th kill, otherwise it was pretty average.

Used the 2FBB,2CA.2CVL+ 1CL5DD; the FBB and one of the CVL were copy and the 5 DD were non-Kai-ni.

E4 shares the same lock as E1. I only used a boss support fleet for the final run.

Land-based Air:
You can equip the land-based air in the mission select window, where you also can set the orders, like rest/attack/intercept etc. While it's slow (after five runs), the planes do accumulate fatigue. I started off using two Type 96, one Type 1 and a Reppu, but the results weren't too great in terms of damage, so I swapped out one Type 96 for another Reppu and targeted nodes D and F (Wo-Kai and CVH). That's because the LBA combat phase occurs before regular air combat, so it's possible I think to weaken the air units of the Abyssals before you strike with your regular carriers. Afterwards you need to refuel and rebauxite them. Oh, and be careful about changing squads. There is a cooldown phase as I noticed during which you can't re-equip an air unit.

Sakawa at the boss node

Reward:
1x Skilled Aircrew, 1x Type 1 Attack Bomber, 1x Hien, 2x Irako, 1x Medal

Looking at the Hien, they introduced some new variables for the interceptors:

There are specific anti-bomber and interceptor values (対爆 and 迎撃).

The cooldown phase for the air squads on the air bases is one sortie. So before equipping a base unit with a squad, think about whether it's the loadout you want. Taking it off again means you can't use it again for this round, not on the same airfield and not on the other airfields.

I'm curious about the compo he used for it, since there are not many daihatsu carriers. I'm sure he could have used copies but still It would be a thought on how to allocate them as much as possible.

The boss is a normal land base, not the Pillbox land bases, hence it is still vulnerable to T3 shells and WG42.

CAs equipped with T3 shells. Having Ooyodo with 2 WG42s will also work wonders against these bosses.

And it was a lucky hit, because there are still enemies still alive (Not 1, not 2, but 4 enemies.).

RTA has reached final form for E7, and I tell you, its not going to work as planned...

If you think Triple Dyson is okay to you, or even Quad hime, how about... Hime festival?

What the hell... are they insane? There has to be some trick to it, or it's nearly unclearable without some major luck. Oh and the boss has 230 firepower and 270 armour. Fun times!

Requesting help from E2: I cannot go to boss node as I keep getting wrecked at preboss nodes.

Ships are: Mogami, Mikuma, Satsuki, Verniy, Yahagi, Ooshio.

Setup: CAV -> Zuiuns, 2 Main guns, T3
DD -> 2 Main guns and Daihatsu (1 is equipped with 1 Main gun, 1 WG42 and 1 Daihatsu.)
CL -> 2 main gun, 1 Night scout.
