Came across a posting for this on the DRRR livejournal community but there are going to be Shizuo and Izaya perfumes for sale in June (plus you get a limited edition Shizuo/Izaya kitkat bar for preordering). Here's the website but seriously, has anyone else ever heard of a show getting it's own perfumes before?

Heh, this type of merchandise is for a big product isn't unusual. FFXIII for example had on sale for it in Japan before it release.

Whoa! @ Eva, still king eh? Anyway great sales again, would been #1 if not for that "juggernaut". I'm guessing the show is around 80k now making it BB best selling show and one of the best new selling series.

Some series still have dvd covers that don't necessarily reflect the episodes they contain so Seiji and Mika still have a chance, assuming Brains Base wants to have as many characters featured on covers as possible. Namie also has a chance, being in the background if Izaya ever gets to be on a cover again. I'd be more put off if Horoda and the other Yellow Scarves get their own cover , thought it's possible if they have a YS-only cover with Kida right in the front.

Oh, and Vol.6's cover looks awesome, tho Mikado looks a little odd there. I also laughed at the Minna wa Nakayoshi cover by Yasuda Suzuhito. Kida in shades and a blue flower patterned shirt? It doesn't suit him at all imo XD.

Vol 6 cover is pretty nice, I also expected Namie, Mika and Seiji, but I agree with Kakkou that Namie will probably appear on one later with Izaya. Mika and Seiji could possibly appear in a large character collage in the final DVD if BB decides to do that.

Speaking of sales, the show is still doing very well. Consistently opening at 15-16k and ending up around 20k. I guess it popularity hasn't diminished much. Bides well for BB and DRRR!!'s future installments.

News that may offer hope to Durarara!! fans: according to the latest edition of Animate's newsletter, a Baccano! BD Box set is due to be released on Jan 26th next year.

So if that does well, might they consider releasing Durarara!! on BD? (I'd be soooo cheesed of if they make new extras or include all of the same ones though, since I've already gone off and pre-ordered the entire series!!)
