Episode 2 was nice. Every time Niche licks Lag, i can imagine the number of adult doujins that involve Niche "healing" Lag
I was hoping that Lag'd give Niche a hug or something, but he moreso treated her....like a pet? Maybe a little sister? It would have been nice of him to show some stronger emotion toward her rather than having that calm appearance and attitude, something like what he did with Gauche. The moment of this episode for me was def Steak's slow ascension into the fire, that was hilarious ! Last edited by frubam; 2010-10-11 at 20:44. |

You know what this thread needs? More pictures.
Spoiler for so I have one!:
And I noticed something rather nice in episode one, the potpourri lady from the first season (who isn't a manga character) was in the background of Loyd's office when Lag was giving his report, nice little bit of continuity there.

It's page 54 in volume 6 (an almost entirely black page except for a circle with the scene.)

Another sweetly sentimental episode of Letter Bee. I loved Niche's "On account of I am a dingo!" and Lag's surprised "On account??" I also loved the Scooby Doo ending. And finally, we're gettin' Jiggy in the next episode. But Lag's art skills - Oy. I think they drew inspiration from the entries in the "Nomo Drawing Contest" from Cross Game...

Great episode as usual, sure the sender of the letter is predictable but seeing Lag and Niche (and Steak) going around town investigating is really cute. Seeing the memory behind the letter is very touching as well, but there's enough humor thrown is as well, like the picture Lag drew of Gauche. Great Postman you may be, Lag, but an artist you surely are not...Niche is really cute this episode somehow, if those trio (Niche, Lag, and Sylvette) is given just 5 years to grow, I'm sure they'll grow up to be real knockouts. Next episode, Jiggy Peppers.
