In any event, that was another excellent trailer.

I'm always going to Wonder if Nolan's Batman and this Superman could exist in the same universe. Well, I haven't seen Man of Steel yet, but if it's really good I'll even wonder about that question more. I don't think we need these guys to be in the same universe, but I think it would be cool to have a Batman/Superman movie. I think the idea is much more plausible than a JLA film at least. Having them work together and making it believable would be the hard part.
Can we at least get a Wonder Woman movie...please?

Well Brad Pitt is almost 50, so that wouldn't work anyways. If he was 25, it might have been a different story as he was an up and coming star to that point. I get what you are saying though.

Well, here's a question for people, given the direction this thread has went in - If another DC Superhero was to make a cameo appearance in this movie, who would you want it to be? It could be a good way to raise a DC Superhero's profile before giving him/her a movie of his/her own.

Nah, they can't even if they wanted to. Nolan created his trilogy assuming there was no other superheroes. At the very least, any JL friendly Batman would have to be re-written from the Nolan version.

Man, this movie is seriously shaping up to be the best superhero movie in a long time.
Anyways, if they do a Superman/Batman crossover with the Nolan Batman, it could work if Batman is old (ie, the Batman trilogy takes place like 10-15 years before Man of Steel) and Joseph Levit Gordon is playing Batman from Batman Beyond, then Bruce gets reintroduced after the new Batman is disabled/killed. |

Probably would be best to just reboot Batman and involve him with this new Superman if they wanted to go that route. That being said, I don't have much faith in DC trying to do what Marvel has done recently...so I wouldn't mind if Man of Steel was just stand alone.

Hans Zimmer said it himself that Krypton explodes and he made the score for that particular scene:
"For instance, the scene where Krypton explodes — I don’t think it’s giving anything away, we all know that — the idea was huge, epic orchestral, because that’s what the images are, and I suddenly thought what if we go the other way." link
