My biggest problem is that after 23, I can't see an even remotely happy end for anyone in the series. Especially in terms of couples. Both Kallen and CC have triggered death flags of varying degrees.

Man, there will be blood.

And here I was, getting re-energized by the posts in the Romance thread and comparisons between Nunally and Kallen about lying. Now here you are, sucking it all away...

Yes, but probably not Kallen's, since she's facing Suzaku and it's unlikely for either to win, and I imagine C.C.'s death will probably be fairly tame (either Freya death or bloodless) if it is to happen.

I find it rather ironic that I'm more or less fine with Kallen possibly dying, but I'd murder puppies if GinoxKallen happened. I guess I take character destruction a bit personally, as opposed to character assassination.

Well, I can see a fairly happy ending. THough I think kallen will have an interesting time trying to get a job after all's said and done.

Resume :

Resistance fighter for some-odd number of years against Britannian Occupation. Some experience using a Knightmare Frame.

Member of Order of the Black Knights for approximatly 1 year. Extensive experience using Knightmare frame and fullfilling bodyguard duties.

Approximately 1 year unemployed, 1 day stint as bunny gear at Babel Tower Casino. No useful Job Experience.

Solider of Order of the Black Knights for undetermined period of time. Extensive experience using Knightmare frame and being a good prisoner. Attempted to improve skills at interpersonal communication.

Her death might have purpose. And she could die while having her feelings reciprocated.

GinoXKallen will be pretty much a "toss together."

I've honestly given up hope on him doing something plot relevant or even dying. He'll probably dodge in that tight corridor or parry the attack that knocked back the Mordred when it hit head on. He just won't do anything, even dying is to much for his character to contribute. His only purpose seems to be to annoy me.

I don't want Kallen to die, and unlike most people I don't think she will die.. if anyone is to survive, its her.. and I like this observation about the Lulu not being able to lie to Kallen.. this sort of makes sense.. all she demands is truth!! well I guess we will see if that holds water in the next episode when they confront each other..

As terrifying as it might be, did feel like the foundation for some kind of friendship was put together in episode 23. I'm certainly not saying a GinoxKallen pairing would happen, but stranger friendships have occurred. Now to see if both will survive the coming fight.
