Well it was an ok ending it seemed like Asuka got the short end of the stick

To all in the beginning that said this was just a card game(& going to suck).........gets the middle finger.

Best ED song this season. I want a TV-size of it sooooo bad.

Any idea when they release an OST?

(Best OP goes to Buddy Complex or GBF OP2)

OK, now that this thing is over, would anybody who understands the card game clear some things up?

1.) Who the heck was that Sakura girl? What was her relationship to Ayase?
2.) What was the deal with that Dragon Priestess who showed up in the first and last episodes?
3.) Why was Azumi important to the blue world?
4.) Why did the one guy... whoever he was.. have Asuka's face?

I'd really appreciate it, since these were left open and I don't think this is getting a second season.

I think it might get a second season eventually. I think that was the point...

Its sad that everyone give low remarks on this anime because of many plotholes? Do you think knowing whos Uriel will help killing audine? Seriously, do they even need those plothole to kill audine, answer is no.This anime is fairly made and good ending. Anime producers will finish the plothole maybe in 2nd season, the 1st season is just to introduce most of character. You guys are not babies anymore asking no plothole and accept it watch it normally.

Uriel's face seems to resemble Asuka's. So is Asuka the descendant or related to Uriel?

Since the z/x came from the future of different timelines, it's more likely that Uriel is Asuka's future self if it became the white world's future.

Fierte.....became Fierte? idk. People DID speculate that Fierte might be White World's Ayase but....

Either way all the worlds are just no good.

1. White World has humans enslaved.
2. Blue World has humans turned into cyborgs; everyone else has been killed by Sky-Net.
3. Red World has the humans in need of medium to keep them alive.
4. Green World has the humans turns into plants / parasites / etc.
5. Black World has the humans killed for the sake of killing.

Then there's the doomsday depicted by Polaris. Ugh.

Remember what the Dragon Maiden said about creating a new future, giving the device to Asuka was for the sake of creating that future.
In the original white world timeline, Asuka never captured Fierté.
My guess is that the Fierté with six wings with Asuka/Uriel in the ending are the ones from the good future since the original Fierté only had two wings and Uriel is wearing full body armor.

Yeah, but Uriel had a nostalgic smile. Was it just for his youth, or did he meet then lose Fierte at some point? It's the latter possibility that worries me a bit.

I think the latter is very possible.
If Asuka didn`t have his device, I imagine the encounter with Ayase, Seiger and Fierté ended up quite differently.

The card version of Demon of Hatred, Odium looks really different.
And Uriel`s card... Four Archangels : Uriel A.T..
