The biggest and most common complaint about HoN graphics was that it was too dark. Especially the fog is pretty much black painted unlike these DotA2 shots where it's just a darker shade, hiding what needs to be hidden but still with enough light to not offend the eyes. Now when spells are cast, HoN does turn into a lights and shine hellhole but we haven't seen anything on that department from DotA2 to even throw a wild guess. |

The graphics doesn't obstruct my vision. That's more than enough for me.
The big question here is if they will be able to keep the game just as competitive as this: http://www.own3d.tv/live/164/Cyberarena_TV_1 (live stream of Asus summer final. Navi vs Next.kz (borat team hau hau) and score is 1-1 atm). Man, two days feel forever away. Damned be whoever leaked those pics for that totally drove my impatience level over 9000 and all that. |

If it's just the size of the image that's the problem just contact one of our admin friends and ask them to add img { max-width: 900px; } to the other forum CSS modifications, then any image larger then 950px will be scaled down.

More like the server issues.
Looks like the game will take more than ~1h30... I'm getting bored so few TF happens. So , the graphics looks good enough , there are the Dota base gameplay. But it lacks sounds/musics , the TF are a bit messed-up and very short. To finish , i hate the UI , like the skills , they are so big... and the heroes shown on top screen are useless , at least show the life. Well , hope i can try the beta to play it myself. Edit : More servers issues when EH finally took advantage of towers and played aggressives.. |

The game itself seems good so far. The graphics look like just the right mix between the LoL cartoonishness and HoN's 3d effects, the heroes can be easily distinguished from the surroundings. Heroes' animations seem OK, they're smooth but not really spectacular (do love the flying donkey though ).
What really bugs me is how long this game is taking right now (IG vs EHOME) without much happening except for farming, farming and more farming. And I don't even count in the time the server/game crashed. Anyway, maybe it was just this game that was relatively boring since meanwhile two other games were already finished. |

Lag issue cost IG tower top down.
And lulz the chinese streamer seems bored , he doesn't move the cam... Edit : Finally "GG" , i won't say it was a real gg , so manys lags. Well , my last streaming on DOTA2 today , honestly that was painful to watch. Last edited by -Sho-; 2011-08-17 at 05:32. |

At last lol
I can't count on how many times it crashed Watching the streams with couple of friends (and joking around with crash or stuffs in the game) is really fun ;_; Spectre didn't shine much at first, but seems to be owning later on
