I think this track also played (or a version of it) in the film version when Valsey's carrier started launching fighters to attack the Earth fleet and the Earth just blew up everything, just before the submarines attack.

What Happen to Mazor a Comet Empire Scorpion Fighter Pilot is he still alive in a Remake as opposed on he got shot down when his plane turned on the yamato to attack only to been killed due to the Comet Empire Policy we dont want you to come back. in the original hope he.ll been turned into one of the Yamato's allies like Melda from Gamilas when she gets along with the humans.

This version it appears that he is a general or something in charge of a special weapons unit that was going to blow up Earth from Planet 11. Last we saw him he was cursing at Yamato from his disabled flagship over Planet 11. He might get revenge, or he might be blown up by Andromeda and the fleet in the next set of episodes.

I've been catching up on 2202 - I'm currently on episode 7.
So far it just seems a bit... sloppy to me. 2199 felt super polished, with strong writing, direction, animation, etc. With only a few exceptions, each episode felt strong. 2202 can be good at times but overall it feels a bit more haphazardly put together to me. It does feel more like the old series... but not in a good way. It seems to be following some of the more illogical and bizarre aspects of the original, the sorts of things that 2199 did a good job of updating and smoothing out. I was a bit worried when they announced that 2202 would be written by Fukui, as I'm not a fan of Gundam Unicorn. I'm not sure that he's entirely to blame for all of these issues, though.

You meAn Miru, the guy standing behind Dessler and not blinking? If so, yes Dessler shot him in Farewell to Yamato. Several times even.
I don't recall him having a fate in the TV series, though he probably died on Gatlantis. Dessler's ship is large and overly armed. Also that is definately an Magnaflame gun fitted to fire a dessler cannon. Either it tightens up to bring it to pink beam of death or something overcharges it to get it up to more or less wave motion gun levels. That Gatlantis fleet had no chance, which means I may have overestimated the Gatlantis ships compared to the Gamilas. They might be more fragile than I thought. It is possible the Gatlantis battleship has shielding as the beam seemed like it was deflecting around the flagship for a moment in a similar way the first one we saw sort of deflected Andromeda's wave motion gun spread.

That light reflection on Yuki's suit makes her breast look quite large
Also that Neo Deusura is quite massive! That Gatlantean guy on the Deusura behind Dessler. Is he an android or something he speaks something about humanoids in many sentences. |

The changes are getting larger so that the original paths aren't quite possible anymore.
However I can see them using the races and themes, just spinning a new tale to fit the current state of Yamato, its crew, and the universe around them as we know it by the end of Yamato 2202. Yamato, A New Voyage cannot really be made as it was any more, nor can Be Forever, Yamato. There are too many changes that, while they don't make the stories untellable, make is so some of the major plot elements have to be changed to make the story function. However, the Bolar Wars storyline can still be told (so far) with some seemingly minor character changes, depending on where they go with Dessler and just how vast the Gamilas Empire is within the Milky Way Galaxy. Or have fractioned the Empire is after Yamato 2202. I would be up for a Dark Nebula Empire based third series that sort of retells those stories as well as the Gamilas angle that leads to what could be a Bolar Wars story arc (fourth series). Final Yamato can still be setup for due to all the hints about Aquarius the storytellers have left behind. Even if they never do that story, they can leave it alone as the "ending" to lead into Yamato: Resurrection and then pickup the second part of that storyline as if it was part of the Yamato 2199 storyline without to many bumps.
