Can't believe I didn't realize it was already out and translated. The episode was pretty amazing and the pacing was excellent, probably because unlike the other OVAs it wasn't adapting a ton of separated scenes across different chapters.

Yue definitely leveled up as a companion of Negi here.

Mou Hitotsu Sekai has been exceptional within the Negima franchise. This episode hasn't been any different. Yue is one of my favorite, so I was delighted with this episode. There were plenty of fanservices too from all sort of angles, weren't there? Solid story with the right amount of action, fluid animated effort however brief those might be, very good scripting, and awesome voice acting from all around. I hope this story doesn't disappear and we get more of it in the nearest future. Come on Shaft, get to it!

Yes, these OVAs have been the best of the Negima adaptations. SHAFT better anime certain developments between Natsumi and Kotarou, or I'm going to be very upset.

Now that was nice. I'd forgotten that Yue used Fulgratio Albicans against the griffon. While it obviously doesn't compare to the later stuff we've seen, I seem to recall that's a fairly powerful spell for a beginner mage to be using.

lol finally someone made a topic about this as i released the ova sometime last december lol. negima doesnt have enough fan support to warrant decent anime adaptations lets be thankful the ovas were not a disappointment. enjoyed doing negima as i'm semi retired from fansubbing. unless another negima is coming ive no interest to continue. last i recall was a theatrical animated adaptation but hear nothing of it so far.

on topic: emily is lol, yue was great, collet was... dunno wut to say...

Anyway, the OAD was great, I'd rather they continue this way, not only with Negima, but other manga as well.
