Ah Vorona meeting Izaya...

Somehow I knew the day would happen but it was a nice sight to see. Still, I kinda like the previous cour/season better than this. It was still a fun ride though. Can't wait for Winter for the final cour.

Holy shit, this turned into a hell of a thriller didn't it?

Mikado's conversation with Celty was pretty damn chilling. He no longer has any inhibitions doesn't he? Celty is probably regretting no taking Anri's worries seriously now. Dollars vs Yellows Scarves look to be actual fight this time with no mastermind or deceptions among the participants.

And yeah there is not only multiple Yodogiries, but it turns out Kasane is the one actually in control. She also the one who sold Shingen Saika through Yodogiri to begin with. I wonder if Izaya really got himself over his head time as he no longer dealing with a mere human here.

And how did everyone end up at Shinra and Celty's apartment...?

It's possible, unfortunately Kasane doesn't really say. It would depend how many times she melted it and reforged it. I'd imagine she only did once as she wouldn't want it getting too out of control.

Mikado's talk with Celty showed a different side of him to Celty. This time the Dollars and Yellow Squares are going up aganist one another and this time there aren't any tricks. Both sides know fully well what they are doing.

Guess we got confirmation that Ran wasn't the one who attacked Kadota.

Yodogiri Jinnai also turned out to be not a person but a group of people who use the name for their convenience. Kasane is also the mastermind of the group and showed Izaya that he bit off more than he can chew.

Finally everyone is in Celty's apartment but I doubt it's for a hot pot party,

They're leaving us hanging like this? There's way too many unanswered questions this round. Last season wrapped most things up fairly nicely.

Well that ending really leave us hanging, good thing we have a new season on winter.

Interesting to learn that the Yodogiri was just a group being controlled by Kasane which seem to be using Saika too, well Izaya really in trouble in this one.

Mikado really losing it, that conversation with Celty really show his other side is taking over his life and it look another war with the Yellow scarves is going to start.

Izaya got whooped twice alone in this cour. What a feat. Also Vorona's "Shizou-senpai" . Namie appearing in the apartment had me baffled but that's an answer that's to come in Jan 2016 welp.

Just goes to show that as powerful and manipulative as Izaya is shown to be, there are people more powerful than him that can get the better of him.

Akabayashi are just making things clear for the Yakuza lest they rear their head to them. That and trying to get a read on Mikado. He introduces Haruna's dad to find Haruna. Mikado sends a mass email that Anri receives noting she is in a precarious position if Haruna is missing. She tries to enlist Mika's assistance but she can't be contacted.

Mikado is bit of fruitcake that Celty starts to notice. As it would lead to a fight between him and Kida. Aoba tried to shakedown a Yellow Scarves only to be checked by Kida.

Vorona doesn't know it but she is love struck with Shizuo. Enough to kill Izaya as a return favor. Izaya probably framed him again so he won't be around to ruin his plans and try to kill him.

Damn Walker isn't a pushover against Izumi. Izumi didn't try to kill Kadota. As we about to get a hammers vs fire bout Izaya calls him for a job. Walker decides to find a place to for the mean time.

Izaya makes his move against Yodogiri Jinnai which is an organization led by Kasane Kujiragi. Which Izaya knows is a fake name as the girl who did it died of a suicide attempt. Izaya was telling the truth to Celty when he said he wasn't responsible for that suicide back in season one. The current Kasane was the one who did it. Izaya like to troll suiciding girls but that has kept them alive especially with back up plans like Celty. Not only did Kasane got in the way of his fun, stabbed him but she took his assistant Namie. Izaya's hubris got the better of him as Kasane is another Saika. She used Slon to catch him. Kasane thanks Izaya now that Yodogiri Jinnai is destroyed she is now out in the open.

Celty come back home bothered by what is happening meeting Emilia only to find a crowd in her home. Mika and Seiji, Namie, Walker and Kyohei, Shingen and Egor.

I can only guess Shingen and Egor rescued Namie to thwart Jinnai. Ever resourceful Mika made sure Seiji is safe.

I guess the next season would be around the Saika girls fighting each other.

Is every cour going to end with Izaya getting his ass kicked? Not that I mind.

This episode was fantastic. I feel this is the first episode of this season that was on par with season 1. Hopefully, the next season will keep that up. This completely renewed my excitement for Durarara. Too bad we'll have to wait 4 months for the next ep.

Kujiragi seems like she'll be a neat antagonist. Looking forward to seeing more of her.

Felt like Mikado & Kida switched places this season.
Ending in typical Durarara stye..
