He meant it won't start with a concert scene like the first 3 did. The first episode always has a concert. There will be a concert scene much later in the season.
@PhoenixRising I didn't know one was cast. I hope he's different from Fine and is an enemy of Saint Germain. He definitely cleaning up Fine's mess on his own and probably doesn't ally with S.O.N.G. (forgot what the initial mean) til later. In previous seasons, we didn't get to Fine before she went "nuts" and having someone close to her would give clarify how she end up like "this". Also he can't be her lover cuz she loves God some much. I really thought the name would the Italian word for "beginning" since Fine means "end". |

The Genjuro's Angels Blog translated all of the background text on the Official Website and one of the phrases written into the background was "The man behind the curtain", so there is at least a man involved and apparently according to the interview with Kaneko - Adam Wesihaupt (who is apparently connected to the Illuminati - not confirmed) was mentioned in G.
But, what I was also implying is that the mysterious guy might be the God that she loves so much or at least one of the Custodians. It is possible that the Custodians may have left Observers behind to blend into society to wait until the time has come to come back and communicate with humanity. Considering if he is a Custodian, they might have a long enough life spam to live for thousands of years. However on a side note, what really concerns me are is that while some of the words written on the background wallpaper relate to the Sacrists themselves, I'm more worried about the phrases "You, who are stained with the original sin" and "A sacrifice that will become the foundation" line. I'm kind of nervous that there might be a death this season, since this one seems more serious than the others. Additionally, I'm also actually okay with not having a concert this season, because Tsubasa is still building her career overseas at this point. |

Yeah, losing the first episode concert isn't the biggest crisis in the world . Mostly since then they won't be required to have another concert being directly or indirectly attacked. Any more of that and frankly people are going to stop asking Tsubasa to sing at their venues...Though that they won't really try to surpass season 3's first episode shuttle suplex is a bit sad .
I'm just looking forward to this getting started and seeing how it will play out.

So maybe they wanted to have a slow start to make up for the lack of normal everyday stuff in GX. |

But the main cast continues to get larger. Might not hurt to try something different.

It will be very hard to top punching a damn mountain while carrying a space shuttle but I have hope. As long as it doesn't deal with issues like a friggin train wreck like GX did with its family issues I am looking forward to it. I'll even overlook no concert scene in ep1

As long as they remember to not unjustifiably regress anyone's character development it will be fine with me. Also I'd like for them to more tightly integrate the character arcs with the plot, the way they did in seasons 1 and 2.

I think there were two ways they could have gone with her after S2. Either she really didn't want to fight again after the whole creepily being controlled thing. Or she decided to find a way to fight that wasn't just running around and throwing relics through dimensional portals . I'm just not sure after S3 there is any sign of her wanting to join the others on the front lines. Though hey it wouldn't be the first case of inconsistent writing for the franchise .

Noise are back?! My understanding was that they all died in the explosion of solomon's cane and the treasury of babylon. Probably arcanoise. They really love these enemies. Aside of that heck yeah GX transformation scenes. Hibiki got the obligatory drill punch while Chris expanded her arsenal to bows.

That's clearly a new transformation scene that's taking design cues from both her G and GX transformation scenes. |

Yeah I had to look up the name, that's why I only edited in later ._. The transformation seems highly similar to GX though. After double-checking the part when Hibiki is standing in the circle is literally copied from G. I stand corrected. Not that I have any complaints.

Definitely getting excited to see this season arrive. If nothing else I mean Hibiki's a drill punch . Also appreciate seeing Chris bring back that bow attack. And who knows maybe this season she'll be allowed to shoot her sniper rifle .
Certainly expected the Alca-Noise back. Part of the nature of the show is having mass minions for the girls to unleash crazy attacks into. Though seems like we'll at least occasionally get some unusual threats to break that up. Like that giant creature wrecking havoc in the PV. Always need some excuse that's for sure. Or else Genjuro and their resident Ninja really could take care of most threats .

Symphogear and cliffhangers. They shall remain united. Though the series has had more extreme cliffhangers than this.
