Finished the first episode.

Alright we're back on track, the intro made super clear what's happening so the viewers wont feel disconnected from the story. Mayoi onee-chan is so perfect, now is araragi the one being harassed, love it. The opening was average at best but the ending was pretty good, not at the level of previous ones but acceptable. Can't wait to watch the next episode.

Is Zoku just one story arc? I'm thinking of waiting for all episodes to be out to watch it.

Think about zoku as an epilogue to the main story, this is what happened with everyone after the story ended but is still related to Araragi of course. You can watch each episode on its own without any problem.

It's more just Araragi's epilogue. Off Season functions as the epilogue for everyone else.

True, my bad I got confused. This is the last part of Final season.

I hope that we get anime for off season and monster season too.

Now for episodes 2 and 3, we reached the midpoint of Zoku with Shinobu in the castle, things are getting better.

Without going into spoiler territory I can tell you that it has the usual intriguing topics, you'll understand after finishing all episodes.

Finished the last 3 ova of Zoku, what a great experience. They really managed to capture the idea behind this story, the beginning of a new step in life and how to face this change. Another incredibly important element from zoku is that Araragi understood that he needs to be very careful because as the master of Shinobu and being the one that created Ougi he has a huge amount of power and his dialogue with Ougi was crucial to understand and solve this problem.

Finally and as always Senjougahara showing why she's so amazing, the chemistry between Araragi and Gahara is so incredibly good that I never grow tired of this couple. Now both are ready to start a new life together. As always Monogatari and its amazing writing and dialogue shows why this is one of the greatest stories out there, is the reason why this one of my favorite novels too, 10/10 to this adaptation and I hope that we get more in the future.

That was great. Really intriguing story and nice character interaction as usual. It didn't really feel like an epilogue, but more like a continuation, since you don't usually have the MC learn an important lesson in an epilogue.

It was nice to see all the girls again, albeit they were a bit "distorted". Mayoi onee-san was a nice bonus.
