Reviews & Recommendations - Requests for new threads

Since the Reviews & Recommendations forum is limited (only Mods and Admin can create new threads), this thread serves as a way to request a new thread to be created.

Please post here if you wish to request a new Reviews & Recommendations thread. Please bear in mind that we will only accept reasonable requests, we wish to maintain the focus within the forum and cut down on the noise (so no pointless threads cluttering up the place).

Don't forget that you may still post in existing threads as usual, the only restriction is that you may not create new threads within this particular forum.

So I actually renamed the "Slice of Life" thread. I had purposefully not made one because the genre label is too all-encompassing and poorly-defined, in my opinion; some people include nearly everything into slice of life just because it includes a school setting and isn't blatantly action/romance/sports/ecchi/comedy.

So I changed it now to "Cute characters doing cute things". I think that, paired with Heartwarming/Healing, it covers most of the gamut of things people usually loop into that category.

If there are other sorts of shows that people feel would not fit into either of those categories but fall under the wider "Slice of Life" label, let me know and maybe we can refine the categories further.

For these kinds of threads, check out the Light Novel forums (or also Manga and Web Novels as appropriate).

How many people in this forum watch PriPara? I would like to make a thread about PriPara, but I don't know if someone watch it besides me here.

How about an Isekai/Other World Fantasy thread? They're so popular these days.
