I think it might just look odd because her mouth is really large.

I just want to comment on the fact that you use really bright colors. I, in particular, don't prefer bright colors, so I don't like it as much. I can't speak for anyone, but you might want to use some darker colors? I don't know, it may just be your style (which is cool, do what you think looks good)

As for the blush, look at love hina or something, they have like 1-5 blushes every page XD. She looks more like she has a rash or something with that color. Mouths are tough to draw, even though they require the least drawing...funny, eh?
