So PSP2 might be sort of PSP/Mini Tablet hybrid. I want to play Final Fantasy type-0 with OLED screen.

Can PSP2 play PSP games via PSN ?

As I've a bunch of UMDs here, I'm hoping for some form of backward compatability however obsolete the format might be. Let see if Sony learned anything from the failure that is PSP Go.

Not necessarily, if they use it creativity, it still has some life left in it. If the PSPT has a internal storage, new retail UMD can be used to store compressed data that are installed onto the internal storage, and as for older UMD games, with more ram the loading time would be cut drown dramatically. People, like me, who dislike UMD isn't because of its format, but because how bad it is used. IMO optical media should only be used to distribute data not stream data from, in a handhelds and consoles. Physical media are still important for the coming generation, mainly because high speed and inexpensive internet isn't available everywhere and to everyone. I'm 100% sure the PSPT will have some sort of physical media, in worst case a it will be a USB drive.

Wonder if they will call it PSPTouch, considering the rumours about OLED touchscreen.

Hmm, from what I heard, the release of this new PSP is going to coincide with the advent of 64 Gigabyte-and-beyond Memory Stick Pro Duos.

Heck, so it is said by the end of this year, we will be seeing 1Terabyte Memory Stick Pro Duos!!

All the music, anime and games I could ever want on a single handheld machine! Joy!!

alright, i've accepted that Valkyria Chronicles 3 isn't for ps3 but for the psp, but i do not accept that Isara is in it..

don't know where else to throw this. haha.. also, i hope they don't actually make it a phone. because that would be retarded.

Oh yeah, Memory Stick XC, 2TB max iirc, but i haven't heard anything since the end of 2009. But it seems that sony did updated the site for their memorystick format, sometime in 2010.

2TB probably overkill. i suggest HG one that provide faster data transfer.
