Thumbs up expectations..

you know... people never really live up to one's expectations which, regretfully, is the only thing true in life...

an artist, however, who can create pictures/wallpapers that the viewer can feel connected to, pictures that can bring the viewer to a state of total calm... that is someone you should look up to (i mean, wouldn't he be the most unlikely person to start a war? )...

anyways, keep up the good work... you have earned my respect (i don't really know if that's supposed to be worth anything to anyone though)..

may fortune forever smile at you!!

Ah thank you very much ^^. I look up to alot of people like Makoto Shinkai's work or look upon others but not try and compete. Thats something I would hate to be like. Everyones respect is very honorable to me and yours is the same as everyone else . Thanks a bunch =3.

...but alas, competition is something that can never be avoided, whether it's a the great Makoto Shinkai or the doodle artist right next to you. There will always be something to challenge what you do or make. ... but nevertheless I always respect what you make and I wouldn't dream of competing with you.
(actually, it might be pretty scary )

Anyway...

It is nice.

(and sorry the amount of criticism, makes this statement look strange... but lets just say, I did express detailed what I dislike and rather abstract what I like - don't let the amount of text fool you )

But my mind is always troubled when a high detailed world meets an abstract (low detailed) character. The high deversity of the structures of the planet, compared to the plain lines and shades of the character... its like a -does not go together- relation. You'ld either need to abstract/undetails the environment or add much more details to the character (that would also help to reduce the impression, that the world is plastic, while the character is actually flat).

Yeah, what Cats said.

Though I have to admit that from looking at the thumbnail alone, I though it was a nuclear explosion or something.

Hahahah! Yes! I was just looking at it for a second and your right! Lol and I love the explosion of a nuke going off xD. But no sadly, just my new wall with a sunset and some (hopefully) details to feel relaxed and eased . Thank you so much to you both ^^ means alot to me

I like it a lot... more so as no "alienating" anime chara is in it. (reminds of some stuff I've seen on scene.org ~ consider this a compliment)

oo,
is he from Fruits Basket? or not.. I'm not too sure :/

I love it when you put planets and suns and moons in your work, you are like PRO at it They are always so pretty!

Maybe you can touchup on some of the really close up sakura petals even more, because they just look like a pink blur.. and don't worry about the details, it's really dark so it's really hard to notice anyways! Keep up the GREAT work KY!!

Reason why some of them are a blur is because some of them are close up just like why the pillar is blurred. Thus making it more realistic ^^. And to Sky, thank you VERY much ^^. I just like giving highly anticipated animes a big boost. Arigato to you all!
