If there was any sign that the series isn't even remotely going to portray the era its set in accurately (as if the swimsuits two episodes ago weren't enough), this was it. Idols! Concerts! HEIAN-ERA WOTA!

That said, it's not that surprising at all -- all the celestials shown have been girls so far, and barring Enki, all the other oni have been male.

Not only that, but their mother was a Celestial Maiden! 2.) Well it's confirmed regarding Prof. Kaguya, but it looks like she's joining Jakioh's army to help him conquer Japan, apart from conducting more research in order to get back to the moon. Wow, so much drama bomb on this episode!
