They've already skipped over a couple of things.
Like, the safe that 11th was hiding in? I do believe it had three locks, not two. In case I'm mistaken about that particular tidbit, then the first lock was the elaborate one where Yukiteru actually showed how much he mastered his diary by getting the code to appear on it. |

Episode 19
Ok, I did want bad ass Yukki but this is over stretching it... Last time he killed he was under effect. Yes it does make killing later easier but you don't make a 270 degree turn and start to mercilessly slaughter kids! And since when he can drive like that?! Episode 20 First part with computers seemed very rushed... Very curious to know what Deus did to Minene. So 11th is a much bigger character than he already was... Yuno still sucks... If I had to choose, it would be Minene any day. She does everything that Yuno does, looks better and is not a spycho who will randomly murder your friends and family just because they looked weirdly at you! Episode 21 NO! The best character of the series Minene has died T_T If Minene intended to kill Yukki then why didn't she shoot his phone? SO Yuno is the real one. I still don't get what Deus did to Minene... if he is dying sooner than planned does it mean that he had passed part of his life into her?

So basically, he ended up really broken, but still wants to fix things, and you can't win a murder game by hesitating. Yuno and him probably figured out that the kids would come after them too, so they'd have to take them out (why get more targets placed on yourself than necessary?). I'm gonna say it's safe to assume that Yukki probably was against it, but she convinced him that he could just revive them anyway and that it was the only way. No idea about the driving at all though. |

The twenty-first episode reached a cathartic poignancy for Yukiteru, because Yukki made a point that he never wanted to be involved in any of this and let alone killing. However, Minene counters that one cannot go in life hesitating, being soft, or expecting that everything will turn fine, if your personal situation changes out of the blue and without warning. She lost her parents in a foreign country where warfare and genocide were the everyday bread; nobody came to save her, she had to learn how to fend off for herself and survive. Her situation forced her to quickly steeled herself up by discarding completely her childhood innocence and start killing in order to survive, nothing else than that. If something or someone had happened to interfere in a positive light with what happened to her fate, then things might have turned out different for her; I would say 50+/50- probability chance of a better or an even worse fate because the stream of fate and the river of life are flows intertwined carrying uncertainties. Even if this show has owners using Diaries that can predict their futures for the survival game, the diary themselves only tell them- "Because I acted upon this, I averted myself from getting killed"- and not this- "Because I choose to follow this set course of actions, I kill all the others and became God for a better life." Minene, at last, was able to empathize with Yukiteru at a very personal level, because she saw her childhood self in him, and I feel seriously bad for Minene holding an illusory hope that she might be alive somewhere, and for Yuki because he truly intends to amend his selfishness once becoming God and reviving absolutely everyone starting with his parents. Oh man, this episode covered some of my favorite chapters in the whole manga, albeit in a very uneven fashion. These were the chapters that reminded me that this is Mirai Nikki, anything can still happen, and so I had high hopes about seeing these animated.
Good: lots of clever ways of working around the broadcast decency laws . Bad: not subtle, at all. Lots of crazyfaces and lots of bad maniacal cackling. Moving forward: we have 4 episodes left to cover "the end" now. I like our prospects here, that's enough time to tell it leisurely. 3 episodes seems like the minimum to not feel rushed, so that extra episode should do wonders. |

This was good but censorship was bad at the same time, oh well i will rewatch the bd version so don't matter. Sad he killed their best friends, didn't expect this.
Mirai Nikki is so unpredictable, for this reason is so damn good. 8/10 |
