First time I am posting here, as I wasn't honestly following saimoe until I heard Azusa was in the top 8 xD; so I am extremely happy to say; Congratulations to Azu-nyan! I am so very glad to see win one this year since she fell short in ISML and best moe. Now to get an Azusa sig in honor of her win .

So it ended and I accept that Azusa was indeed a deserved winner. Therefore, fuck you Mikoto, couldn't complete the job.
Also I will now subscribe to the thread to go back to it next year and find hilarious quotes. So, related to that, who do you see being strong in 2011?

Strong in 2011:
Mikoto, depending on her screentime Index Ika-musume degesou Kirino@Ore no Imouto If there's a season 3, Nagi and Hinagiku I don't think K-On will be as strong Not sure about the other shows from this and last season. And of course we don't know what gems we'll get in winter and spring seasons. Angel Beat? An OVA or something? |

Also attempting some wizardry: WIndex and Ui will finally win their opening matches. As for Touka, we have to wait for Season 2 (inb4 everytime you mention it ;_; )

You may be right. It's so hard to tell at this point, especially with the fall season being so new. I can say though, that I don't think this summer debuted anything that will get too far. Don't think Angel Beats will be all that special. AB! had a disappointing performance this year and I can only see them as weaker next year. And you may be right about K-On, if the field doesn't change too much. |

I know I'm a little late here, but congrats to Azusa!! Although there were other girls I wanted to win more than her, I knew she had a good chance and I'm happy she won =D
Next year I would like to see the Angel Beats! girls do better, though looking at how they did this time, that probably won't happen. Other than that, my usual favorites (Haruhi, Hayate no Gotoku girls, and Shana). So far the only newcomer I would like to win in Saimoe '11 would be Kirino, but we still have lots of time to see new faces =) It was fun following everyone's input and fangasms this year. Looking forward to next time.

I think this year had really strong candidates. I'm glad Azu-nyan won, considering that as a moe-series, K-On! did rather well, and after it ended, I think a result like this was a good thing. I think Azu-nyan did rather well, considering she beat a lot of strong opponents and her final rival was a veteran of this tournament.
