You should still remain cautious, though - people on 2chan lean more towards the idea of a recap (since it's a 'Code Geass Special', although it's listed as '24&25'), but the length of the slot (roughly one hour and a half) seems to coincide with the length of both eps 24 and 25 for the Osaka and Tokyo theater screenings.
So...there are yea and nays for the possibility. Let's just wait and see. Maybe someone should check the official website and the studio/producer's blog for helpful updates...

I'm more worried about how the hell I'm going to stop myself from reading spoilers about the eps from that special event the week before since I'd rather watch them without being spoiled first. But I'm terrible at resisting spoilers. And to hold off for a week isn't going to be easy :/

I have a few questions regarding the world and social setting of Code Geass which I would like to discuss:
1)Social and Economic Stratum: Since Brittania is an absolute monarchy, that implies that there is no constitution or parliament, correct? And from the way the emperor speaks, it seems that Brittania would closer resemble 19th Century England than its present form, when the social stratums were far more pronounced and overall economy, though robust, far more unequal. For instance, Knights and Baronets, the lowest level peers, could have typical household incomes of 40-100 times that of a well paid sailor (soldiers were paid even worse, and usually only better than vagrants and the poorest of the poor). Thus, Brittania in the world of code geass is one with superior economic and technological power, but with the distribution of wealth being far more concentrated than say present day America. That is not to say that the masses were rising up in revolt, but that the though the average Brittanian was doing well, the rich were far fewer and far richer. 2) Are there missiles in Code Geass? Or were guidance/homing systems never invented, like nuclear technology? 3) Is the currency in Brittania ever mentioned? 4) Are there references to religion in Code Geass?

2) That was answered in ep 18 near the end. They use missiles before the Avalon appears and uses the Gawain on Zero and co.
3) I've been wondering that one myself lately. 4) It seems to imply there's religion, but I don't think it;s ever been referenced. But this is just my guess.

4) The Church of England is suppose to have its King as the leader, remember? Now, assuming in Code Geass the ruler is even more powerful than Henry the VIII, it isn't hard to guess that he wouldn't let anything challenge his power in his own lands.
