Yeah that part was one of the series best moments, just the look on her face when she realises what he has just said, time seems to slow done as Light simply stands there with that evil look on his face knowing that she will not be able to repeat what he has just said as the seconds tick away.

The first person i chose, was Light. I think that his way of thinking is right (and sometimes i find myself thinking about what he did), but should never be acted out.
I also chose his father because he is (imo) entirely on the side of justice and cannot commit an evil deed. Light's motives (i guess) were just like his at the beginning but Light turned ... bad. Power like the death note would make anyone lose their mind, but he (Soichiro) didn't...
Just because he's fun to watch and looks cool, I chose Ryuk. I was also thinking of choosing L, but since he fails to live up to his true potential, i didn't.

Ryuk, because he's not like you would Death Gods imagine to be.
L because of his eccentricity, and Light because of him being one hell of an immoral protagonist.

I luv. how L can get away with so much, lol. Go L. IMO even if L has so many people backing him up, Light's always the one with the unnatural advantage. We need to see more of L.

L is my favorite character right now. Ryuk is pretty cool and Misa is kind of adorable... I can't vote for Light since I generally disapprove of his intentions to arise to godhood..

Anyway, my real favorites are L, Naomi and Souichirou. L because he >>>>> Light, Naomi because she had great potential to be a kick-ass character (yet she... anyway) and Souichirou because... I don't know why, but I really like his attitude and character.

I love Light, L, and both of the Death Gods, especially Ryuk

I also voted for Naomi Misora-- she was brilliant and would have been the best of all the characters if she hadn't been killed so tragically

I'm just imagining how wonderful the series could have been if she'd been allowed to survive, and Misa had been killed by Light instead... **sigh** It's too bad-- when Misa was first introduced, I kind of liked her, but as the series progressed, she made her way onto my hate list

My favourite character is definitely L. He's so intelligent, the way he reasons and the way he thinks simply makes my mind goes into knots trying to follow his reasoning. And all the more it's so impressive. And he is super cool too and can be frightening the way he treats criminals and idiots (aka Matsuda).

As for Light, I don't know whether to hate him or to like him. I think Light is quite like L except he is genius who stands for evil (while L is the genius who stands for good), and sometimes it makes me feel sick when I see him plan.
