I believe it was said that Accelerator killed around 10000 clones in controlled environments, before the experiment moved onto AC district 7 in the Railgun manga. I'm not quite sure on the exact number before the experiment moved out into the city itself though, it could be 8000 or something like that.

At the start, there were cases where it was Accelerator vs 20-ish clones at once too.

If I have to guess, it's only been a few months since the 'Level 6 Shift' project started - in Vol12 Accelerator said not many experiments he was the subject of lasted more than a few months, and the Level 6 Shift was the longest project he was ever involved in as of that time.

However, the Railgun manga shows Accelerator as a kid when he first started it. I'd say he was around 10-13 at the time, so it's definitely been going on for a few years.

A certain destined encounter
8 years before the Misaka 10032 experiment…

It was a bright yet dark evening. Many residents at this time would have went home, to their residences, to their dens if people were to be compared to as animals.

In Academy City, one may wonder the probability of a playground in a massive scientific city such as this. In this city, only the strong rules the night while the weak perished under the night. This city was constructed with the intention of gathering and improving esper power.

“The people who can replace reality with their own reality, we call those people, espers.” ~unknown

It was in this playground, that the “Strongest” resided. She sat motionlessly on the swing, the silver haired albino cared little of the reality other than her own. She looked pointlessly at the ground, not even paying heed to the approaching 7 teens who seemed to be looking for targets to terrorise.

Accelerator point of view…
My parents were killed when I was in kindergarten. People live and die. You were responsible, you caused the deaths of your parents. That was what they told me, I don’t remember much about them anyways, only their faces. I never felt warm, it was a cold world. It was a hot evening but it still felt cold. How ironic was the fact that the last lesson that they taught me was about the food chain, that predators prey upon the weak. It wasn’t long until an egg of darkness was born within my soul…

How long had I been out here for? Under orders from my new “guardians”, they allowed me to run free for a whole afternoon. While this gesture of freedom was not unwelcome, the playground was the only place where I can free myself from the grasp of others. While it was true that I already remained beyond the other people’s grasp as they deemed me the “Accelerator” and that I had the potential to be the best and the strongest.

The strongest? Such words meant nothing to me. Having powers like this is useless, only bringing misfortune upon myself and others. Speaking of others, how many people have I got rid in my way? There was too many to count, not like these teens would add much to the count anyways…While I may have a huge list behind me, it was still in my morals to warn the attackers of the possible consequences that awaited them.

I have a new concept about new TAMnI fanfic

It called TAMnI: Alternative Testament

Like it named said it is TAMnI (followed a little from LN) with a lot of changes applied.

Here are the concept so far:

Mikoto and Touma meet Index at same time, while doing their usual 'chasing'
Involvement of Mikoto in Magic World
Touma never lost his memories
Accelerator defeated by Touma and shooting at his head; his power not gone since the wound not fatal enough, but his power decreased about 50% with time limitation and he use MISAKA Network to replace the other 50%
Several New OC introduced

Spoiler for Several character that appeared as filler in LN also inserted (I realized them when checking sevral illustration while looking for idea):

Of course, since there are also several things that I must research first before start it

But I also want yours and expert fanfic writer's view about this idea ~

I have one advice on your OCs:

No Marty Stu and Mary Sue characters.

Most people don't like original character who for some reason are more powerful or cooler than the main cast. So make sure if those characters are espers/mages, don't make them too powerful or cooler than the main cast.

A boy (who happened to be Touma's child hood friend) (with weird ability and left hand power)
A Girl (the boy twin) an ESPer
A Girl (friend of the boy and she have crush on him) still normal person

If Touma were to use his Imagine Breaker on the AT Field of an NGE angel, would it a) completly destroy it in one blow, b) partially destroy it while leaving cracks all over, or c) have no effect whatsoever?

Note: I'm not asking because I'm writing (or planning to write) a fanfic but because I like to imagine what would happen if an angel were to attack Academy City.

Funny you should mention this, I was wondering the other day whether Academy City or Tokyo-3 have the better Military Capabilities. T3 has the Evas and thousands of missile batteries while AC have... Everything else.

Moving on to your question, given the titanic scale and size of an Eva's Angel's AT field, I would say (B)- But given that AT fields can regenerate, Imagine Breaker would have it's work cut out for it just keeping the hole open.

^ I was thinking that too, but iirc the AT field is the Angel's "soul barrier" and to break it is like breaking their soul, which Touma does on a regular basis to humans.

listen to MrTerrorist. I made my character cooler and stronger and now I'm not so sure that the readers will like him , but since I'm going to make another one in alternate world where Ted didn't like Banri , he liked Misaka I don't care. The story will be about their daughter when she's 17 and her friend Yuriko Musujime (son of Accelerator and Awaki Musujime). She posses the ability to copy abilities and their levels and can have copy only one ability copied and because of that the scientists can't tell which level is her ability and she's level 0 (something like Touma's case). Yuriko has Accelerator's powers and he's albino just like him. I think that it will be more interesting than the first one , but I still didn't start it so it won't be ready soon. I'll start it after I finish the first one.

The most annoying starting is where the OC just shows up and start beating up the main characters. Also people tend to make the OC as vague as possible- God knows how many ASF (A shadowy Figure) I have encountered in my lifetime...

Spoiler for Spoilers Chapter 3: “What is this shit?” Accelerator wondered aloud, but the answer didn’t come. He was reflecting on the recent events that had befallen him. First, he had unknowingly saved Kamijou Touma, the guy that had put a stop to the Level 6 Shift Experiments and in so, saved the Misaka sisters. What was left of them that is. As much as it pained him to admit, he did have this feeling of “pride” the frog-faced doctor spoke of swirling around whenever he recalled the day. Second, he had knowingly saved Musujime Awaki, someone he had brutally defeated when he stopped the reconstruction of the Tree Diagram. On any other day, he would have just walked away and left her to bleed out in the dark alley. "Is showing goodwill to others really that scary?" Ever since Yomikawa uttered those words, they haunted him. They nagged him incessantly. Goodwill this, goodwill that…what a load. The only thing this “goodwill” is good for is getting knives stuck in your back. But why did it feel so…right? Watching Awaki being taken away to the emergency room two days ago gave him a unknown yet familiar sensation. Somewhat like that he felt when around Last Order, but different in a way. “So how does it feel, Accelerator?” “What?” “To show goodwill as your guardian calls it.” “...” “Now don’t you go just saving girls now. I know how tempting that sound as a teenager, but the Knight and Princess routine does get old after awhile.” “…Shut up old crank…” So what would be the third on his list of goodwill? Third strike and you’re out as they say. ‘Not happening.’ He swore. Right now, Accelerator wandered the streets, alone. He would have stayed home if it weren’t for Yomikawa and Yoshikawa kicking him out because they had to do “girly stuff.” He furrowed his brow, a rather unorthodox thought passing by before he squandered it. Last Order was still there. Plus, why did he just think about that? Sure, two long-time female friends living together and sharing a bed, with two kids they had to care for is sort of suspicious. If anyone were to hear that, they’d either nod in understanding or walk away disgusted. Accelerator gritted his teeth as even more unorthodox thoughts entered his mind, but thank goodness, a loud metal thud snapped him out of it. “Holy shit, come to papa! Yeahhh daddy will treat you nice.” The level 5 shifted his eyes to his left, and saw some punk with dirty light-brown hair attending to an ATM machine. It was cracked open, and by some miracle from God himself, it wasn’t buzzing and calling Anti-Skill or Judgement to the scene. “Now to make my escap-Hmph!” Complete engrossed in the wad of cash he had, he collided with the observing Accelerator. “Ah, sorry! I didn’t mean to hurt a cripple.” Red eyes defaced the Skill-Out. He blinked at the man with the cane, and something told him was about to go terribly wrong. ‘Wait. Red eyes… S-S-Snow-white h-hair… C-C-Cane?’ His demeanour was now that of a frightened child. He stepped back, before making a run for it. “Ha! Being a coward is the beeeeesssssttttt!” He did not foresee however the unnaturally strong gust of wind coming at him. He did not realize he had fallen flat on his ass. He did realize however that the rank 1 level 5 of Academy City was looking down on him.
