actually this is not true, the same joke can fun as much or even more as being told a second or third or more times, what is matter is joke quality, the time between each time you hear it again, your type of humor, how they joke is being told and the "person telling the joke", otherwise a lot of comedian, stand up shows and movies could be so fun even after you watch it a couple of times, things are not "simple like that".

The Japanese should do like the Americans and stop following the original content and only use the title and 70% or less of the original characters, if they start now in 10 years the fans were happy if at most adaptation has the essence of the story original. I pity the studios who spend time and money trying to do something of quality, because as long as the human mind does not accept perfection, they will never get a 5 star rating from fans of the original work. ps: I hope that I am alive to read the reaction of people when animes begin to change the gender of the characters in relation to the original work or the ethnicity of them, as is happening in works of the West. hahahahahaha, it's going to be fun. ps 2: About the episode, Hina's reaction at the end was sensational, but I think it's only a matter of a few more months before Anzu gets really popular in Japan. |

what make japanese animations "better" is exactly the fact which they where not like "western" and do whatever they want without care for "SJW or religion or "saint peoples which hate sex or whatever BS crap western try to frabricate and throw at the world in speciall USA(where most of the troublesome craps normally ending being born) Normally when a anime try to go a "original own route from a source it ending being a epic fail like animes because animes japaneses fans =/= totally different from western, japan still and this is not opnion is a fact a good exemple are many really good parody animes and movies no matter how much times you watch you still feeling being fun, like a movie like "scare movies" even after watch 2 3 or more times you gonna still laught at the jokes(if it is your type of humor), That is why i'm talking about how the comedy here is really not working "overal" as it was supposed because for some peoples like myself the anime is not really catching the same fun feelings as the manga specially since it is skuping some material, again the problem is not about being original or not but if they are good at pass the same comedy as the manga which for some peoples is not happening, the comedy here is really weak compared with the manga, it's not totally a disaster but for sure is not really fun as it was supposed to be.

It's become long discussion than I thought.
In my mind, I won't say the anime direction is wrong. I like how it currently goes, the mixing of comedy, slice of life and drama is going gool I just afraid it wouldn't have much drama materials to do second season, if it would have a chance. Different endings from original can be both hit and miss, but it mostly miss. There are a lot of samples from the past. In the end it would on hand of directer, either it would success or fail. I like this series and I hope it would doing well.

yeah that is the thing, what is matter is really the moment things can be even more fun later specially when you don't totally understood the joke in first place due to "culture differences( like some especific local country jokes) them when you learn better it can be even more fun, so while the anime have it's moments it still lack a little compared with the manga.

Episode 8 is out.
Hilarious misunderstandings. Silly Mami. I did kinda feel bad for her though when she wasn't able to use ESP in front of her class and had to leave in embarassment. The end with Nitta gave me a big laugh. Not cool dude! I bet he'll never be apart from Hina.

Have you noticed they changed something from the opening?
Amazing episode. The writers handled Hina, Nitta and the others really well. I remember somebody here once said he/she was afraid of the series taking itself too seriously but the new character is hilarious. |

One change I noticed is that Utako is no longer there with Nitta at end of the opening. I guess it's to show that she's no longer a potential mother for Hina.
Funny episode, but that was a dick move by Nitta at the end. Hina can be a pain to live with, but come on. At least we get a modified ending out of it

This chapter was so funny, started with that curveball Hina leaving till Ikaruga report till Mami Chunni till the dramatic false departure...and that ending was something....
And the terminator references. So we get the one stranded on the island next chapter? |

Actually, it looks like Utako got removed from the ED of episode 7. Then ep 8 also removed Hina. So it's not just a one-off. Not quite sure where they're going with it, though.
I finally managed to correctly predict one of the sub-stories of an episode (Mami as psychic girl). I didn't expect them to go all the way to the "Hina has to leave" story, though. But, once again, it really fits with the other stories in the episode. The directory has continued to show his skill in putting together just the right stories to keep everything well-balanced. It does help that most of the original manga doesn't have a hard timeline, and most things can be shuffled around. The only real requirements are when characters are introduced, and incidents like Hina's broken leg. Regardless, great episode. |

Personally, I really liked the ssegment with the survival island. The feeling of isolationism reminded me of the episode when Anzu had to deal with her homelessness.
Glad to see they gave Mao a lot of screen time this week.

So we meet the final OP girl, Mao, poor girl and i'm a bad person i was laughing the whole cast away parody and seems she will take a while to reach japan..
The Whole Yazuka Segment was so damn funny, the whole serious with the Big Bro and the whole sucession affair that Hina throw out a wrench when she propossed hina to the freaking misunderstanding with the whole yazuka and Nitta trapped in that concrete drum...seems he got better. The last part with Hina impromtup party was less funny but still yeah looked like an strange funeral. Amazing chapter, was laughing from start to finish |
