It's only called "The Final Act" because these will be the final [insert number here] episodes of this awesome series. I also heard about the simulcast....which is both good and royally sucks. It means that now if I want the episodes on my computer to later use in AMVs (if I feel like it) I will have to buy them just to download them (that's what Funimation does, I won't be surprised if Viz does the same).

Well, I hope someone will at least still be capturing RAWs. I do need SOMETHING to get screenshots from for my site....

There will always be people fansubbing it even if it is licensed and being simulcast, if anything, someone will probably rip the streams, so I'm sure you'll have something.

@Vbann: Unfortunately, that's not real.

A lot of people seem to be confusing the Black Tetsuaiga OVA trailer with IYK's trailer. This is a real pain in the ass, tbh.

The only official "trailer"/"promo" for the new season are the commercials from Animax Asia. That's all that's officially for IYK.

@CuXe: Dunno. I never heard of the OVA until the news of IYK started to spin around the internet. All I know is that those videos are definitely not for IYK.

Although, I read in the comments of one of the videos that presumably the style that that trailer is drawn in is supposedly what the new season will look like. Supposedly.

I don't see why not, it seemed more like they just cropped a chunk of a future episode and aired it as a trailer.

The OVA is going to be released in january together with the new OVAs of Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura.

Great find! Man the whole "sit" thing really never gets old

That scene alone brought back so many memories and judging from the song playing in the background, the music sounds good already (although it's a little more upbeat than the usual melancholic type of songs that I'm accustomed to from InuYasha.)

I thought I found a RAW of the OVA as a torrent. Haven't watched it yet to check on it...

But ViZ's trailer was gorgeous <3. The art and animation is 10x more beautiful than that of the original. And the opening song sounds lovely.

With this trailer, I'm excited but the only thing that still has me worried is how they're going to handle the plot. Hopefully the pacing is done well enough to do this series some justice.

And so...the countdown begins
