i'm hoping after this episode they announce they they're not going to end it and the secon season that they had planned for fall starts next week

Highly unlikely, as you have to 'book' air time. The secret would've been out already.

But yeah, I'm fully expecting a cliffhanger. This is the writer of Code Geass we're talking about here, and Valvrave is pretty much the spiritual successor of CG.

I'd be fine with a cliffhanger in the sense of "Module 77 falls, numerous characters die, some important characters successfully retreat to the moon/ARUS- How are they going to bounce back from this?! Watch Season 2 to find out!"

I don't want a cliffhanger in the sense that the results of this one particular battle is left until next season. Something like a Code Geass-style cliffhanger would leave me ripping my hair out.

I want this episode to meet with either Cain succeeding, or Cain failing.

Same here. I don't know why people would watch a raw unless they're at least somewhat fluent in Japanese or are making AMVs. If you just want to be spoiled on plot details, then just surf this thread, lol.

The thing is, this is exactly the sort of curveball the Sunrise writing staff might pull for the end of the first cour.

Well yeah, I would kind of expect that. Certainly you want to wrap certain plot threads up, but you do want to hook in the viewer so they can't wait to see what happens in three months.

Yeah, I can agree with that.

I know what Myssa Rei is referring to, though. If Sunrise does that again here... Well, I guess it's best to be prepared for it, but I doubt I'd find it satisfying.

At the very least, I hope something of significance happens within this episode itself.

I am 99% sure Cain is going to reveal some truth about Valvrave/Magius.

Also most likely Haruto/L-Elf/Cain face-off.

I'm expecting Cain to lose the battle but ultimately win in terms of the overall damage his attack does. Probably gonna need a death counter for this episode and I wouldn't be surprised if some major characters are killed.

But before we can get to all that good stuff, we gotta get Saki's response to that proposal. Love triangles are a easy source of drama, so they're probably gonna try to keep the triangle going as long as possible.

I'm very interested to see what happens to Haruto this episode. Maybe Cain will play some mind games with him? How will Shoko respond after what happened to her? Plus we got a giant purple vampire mech in action this week

I agree. Didn't some random students die already last week? I'm sure those students in the hanger right in front of the hanger door that went flying when the drill busted through, more than likely didn't make it...

I can see that too! I'm guessing that Cain will recognize him right away as a vamp and maybe try to fully bring out his dark side. As for Shoko, I really have no idea. I honestly don't care about Shoko or Saki as love interests, thought I do wonder if Shoko will go evil, or if they go against expectations and despite the speech her father gave her, Shoko is violently killed right as she finds her resolve.

Right! That's what I want to see. How will she respond as a leader? Like some people said earlier, we're probably gonna get one more big plot twist. Maybe it'll have something to do with her development?
