Saddest Anime & Saddest Anime Scene(s)

OK i just finish watching Kiminozo and that anime really stick me at the chair from ep1 till ep14. I can't believe that i've watch all the Kiminozo ep in one single morning...

Damn now the entire Anime stuck into my Head... i dun think i'll forget Kimi ga Nozomu Eien in my rest of my life.

Now Kiminozo stands top in my list. Whoa~ Kiminozo anata no Icchiban!!!!
Nevertheless Kiminozo is the saddest anime i've come to watch.

Saishuu Heiki Kanajou & Kanon is nothing compare with it... Kiminozo!!!!! Ya ROCKS~

Ill second that. Kimi ga nozomu eien has moved me like no anime has moved me. A couple of months after ive seen that series, it still crops into my mind! Definatly one of my favourites.

saddest for me, possible because its the most recent anime that i've watched is kanon. Not seen Da Capo, but have seen kimi ga nozomu eien and for me, this was pretty sad as well.

The saddest series I watched is "Now and then, here and there" ... yet I saw nothing that would come close to this mad world (including Kimi ga Nozomu Eien )

For the movie part...that`s more difficult..hmm
I`d say Jin-Roh , for the total lack of a happy ending.

we allready have a thread named most depressing anime. I'm pretty sure that 95% of anime's mentioned in these threads will be identical

http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=14627

maybe we should just merge them...

Was the movie really sadder than the anime?

Now and Then, Here and There, if not sad, was upsetting. Air was just maudlin.

imo - yes. I am not saying the series were anywhere near happy ofc - it was sad as hell, but the movie managed to squeeze more emotions out of me. If you haven't watched it - go get it

I'll second Saikano (the anime series). AIR TV was also depressing

You should really find happier stuff to watch

Oh yeah... You could also try Gungrave, it's licensed. It's kind of depressing if you ask me. I've seen the english dub and the voices were fine.
