Stop making DBZ games, or at least don't make them so generic...THEN we can talk

I mean... the Bardock and Trunks moments in the trailer looked really amazing.... it just sucks knowing that it'll then just go right back to Xenoverse graphics right afterwards...
I'm hoping that it has the option to transfer over your hero from the first Xenoverse and just use Dragon Ball bullshit to make them level 1 again... but from the trailer, I'm guessing maybe it'll read your Xenoverse 1 data and just make reference to your character from there (ie the holograms maaaaybe story cutscenes?")? Maybe y'know... make it worth not just playing as the Saiyan race too...

Anyways, I hope this isn't just adding movie sagas and rehashing the first one's story. Funimation hasn't licensed Super yet so they might not be adding the newer stuff in until that happens, which would really lower my hype for this. |

Thanks to the AI in a lot of missions they were Suuuuuuuuuuuuper Tedious to grind. RNG had RNG, thats what the problem with it was. I mainly want more customization and having the female characters called "She or Her" in cutscenes. Instead of "he" like in #1

I'll have to try it for myself but the gameplay looks improved at least. Looks like it flows together a bit more smoothly than it did before. AI aside (went back the other day and was reminded about how they love to spam ultimates sometimes), the key for this game is gonna be basically everything outside of the gameplay.

If they can just cut out the RNG bullcrap and make sure that skills aren't so easily exploitable and thus broken, maybe the game will be bearable online. As it was, I only went online to grind out harder missions.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 introduces protagonist
The latest issue of Weekly Jump offers new details on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. After the Demigra incident of the first game, the Time Patrol has expanded to include an old Supreme Kai in addition to the Supreme Kai of Time. The player and protagonist is enlisted in the Time Patrol as a new recruit and will take on a variety missions in order to stop history from changing. This time you can also “infiltrate” in history. For example, you can join Frieza’s army and set your sights on the “Ruler of the Universe.” The changes in history that occur in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 are greater and more chaotic than those of the previous game. There’s even an outcome where bothers Frieza and Cooler team up. http://gematsu.com/2016/06/dragon-ba...es-protagonist

Jaco should be doing that. Oh I see, the players might meet Jaco who is also "infiltrating" on coincidence by joining Frieza's army while spying. The players might have to watch out for those three Saiyans and the Ginyu Force, as well as Cui, Dodoria, and Zarbon. |

Among other new tidbits, it seems that the RNG is being modified so that you don't spend excess time trying to get something.
