Episodes 5 and 6 were great as well as this series, I wonder why they felt the need to add Shin to the title, when it's clearly a second season. Are any of the named characters in this story actually women in the real story? loved the WAY OF THE FIVE GRAINS bit, any chance of becoming a new Meme? and the voice throwing loli.

I think the reason why they added Shin to the title was because the follow-up game had that title, and since this was an adaptation, might as well follow it all the way. Ryuubi (female) never appeared in the first Koihime Musou game.

They should have just called it "Koihime musou 2 or kai" and not say any rumours about it being a close adaptation to the game (because it really isn't) and I really hate the current anime plot/

Wow... Two new characters and both are lolis... No complaint though.

A decent episode. I didn't realize the girl's story was a copy of A Dog of Flanders until the very end where she goes "I'm tired..." That was the better part of the episode. The rest was so-so...

In the same scene where Chousen is where the camera is panning from left to right. Chousen actually appears at the end of the camera pan. Go back to the beginning of that pan - you'll find Himiko.

Well he appears again in the episode 6 you know, when teh night comes, in front of the inn

Because it's a fun cast. They don't need to play a part in the overall plot.

Looks like Koihime's going to the dogs. Between all the talk of dogs and balls (and those other novelty items), I felt it was two steps away from having a speedskating team show up. Sweet episode, for one largely spent en flashback. The funniest part, however, is "You didn't do the knee drop right."

I've recently started watching Koihime Musou (season 1), mostly because its loosely based on Romance of the 3 kingdoms (Kan'u Unchou and Ryofu Housen ftw! well atleast in Ikkitousen..).

Anyhow I've seen the 6 first episodes of season 1 and apart from the 5 second clash with Ryofu Housen it's not been interesting (god she was cool )

My question is, WILL it be interesting? I saw somebody write that this series need some action, and so far I have to agree. It seems mostly be a series for young japanese girls..

Any comments would be appreciated (well almost any )

Episode 7 wasn't too interesting, the new girl is pretty adorable though.

And more Sei's teasing Aisha. Both of them should just get it on.

Having seen the first season of Koihime Musou, I quickly picked up Shin Koihime Musou after finding out that there was a second season. I wish the DVD OVA from the first season never existed though, because I thought it was terrible.

I reckon SKM has at least double the amount of bawdy humour compared to the first season, but I don't remember if the first season was all that naughty to begin with. I LOL'd at the first episode regarding Bachou and the 'stairs of heaven', and haven't been disappointed by Choun's other dirty wisecracks.

Although I've never seen the games, I don't see a problem with there being no male leads. The anime adaptation was always like that from the beginning, and it's something a little different for once.

The show's had two Character Song singles announced before it even went to air, and now I have a better idea of what those are.


This one was obvious. The song that's sweeping the countryside and scaring away ursine predators, wherever they may tread.


This one was less obvious. Actually the second song that these two have sung (they also did "Honey Wonderful" in the game's set of character singles), though here they're joined by Ms. Nosebleed.
