Wow, so that guy who appeared from Episode 1 happened to be Tomoyo's brother!

Still, I wonder if he's more powerful than Juri Andou... or rather has the same sucky powers as the main protagonist?

He appears to be able to do the "blink and you're gone" shtick, not to mention him hanging upside down in the first episode.

Also, Endless Paradox eh Tomoyo...

Does Andou has a Dark Past ???
Well , Its because of his nick name contain Guilt & Sin .
It make me wonder that Andou must have some sort of Dark Past.

FYI : Since Episode 3 is out , Does anything from there consider to be spoiler ???

Good episode and I like the idea of how their powers are linked with their past, which would leave the question why Mirei has the ability to steal the powers ?

looks like finally we found some plot in this episode... that phone call is little suspicious

well, I would like to appreciate the whole club for expressing their feelings openly.. luckily Andou is dumb and dense type
Poor kaichou though...

I guess they're lucky that they have Andou when they still confused with their powers.. A chuuni is clearly useful in those situations.. and their powers source might be linked with Bloody Viv-- *cough* Bible that Ando held. He has done a good job in enlighten them and teach them how to handle their powers in more calm manner
I'm still curious with what Dark and Dark could do.. if the others could have incredible power, those dark flame must have something else

I strongly suspect that was a perfectly ordinary phone call that Tomoyo's brother was just bluffing his way through for the sake of maintaining/building his image. Either the person on the other end was used to his nonesense, or they were really confused afterwards.

Feeling like she's left out and wishing that she could take the place of another person to fit in maybe? I really like that theory of the powers having some sort of relation to the characters background. It would give the show an added layer of depth if that were the case.

I don't know if I should take the phone call seriously because it reminds me of Ookarin's chuuni but in this case. Someone indeed call him.

The joke at the end was "that was my boss" which implies to me that he works as a part-timer somewhere and he was getting called about something ordinary like a shift change or whatever. At least, that's how I interpreted the scene.

About Tomoyos bit about coming in.
Is it actually fine in Japan to go into family restaurants, and order a drink, and just sit there to study?

If anyone tried that in US, they be getting evil stares from the waitress hardcore. And probably get kicked out.

Isn't it a pretty common trope in rom-com movies where the protagonist just goes to some diner and keeps ordering coffees just so he can talk to the waitress he's in love with?

It's fine to do that in many countries, I don't know if Japan is one specifically, but in some European countries, it is fine in fact to go into a diner or cafe or some other eating establishment and just lounge around for a while. They won't even bring you the check until you ask for it.

Actually, there's some places out there where you can stay for as long as you like even here in the US. Maybe not some really crowded place but family or small restaurants? definitely.

Decided to watch this series and I am definitely enjoying it so far. The cast is all fun and likable.

On another note, I'm surprised nobody said anything about this easter egg:

As expected of Andou-san. Never a waste of a moment to seize the opportunity!

Hot damn, that scene when Andou comes back home and starts waltzing and singing was absolutely brilliant. In fact this episode had a ton of really creative scenes and cuts, like the whole lolicon bit. Even though Chifuyu's story arc fell flat, Trigger made the episode pretty fun to watch.

Ah, that was much better than last week. Really didn't enjoy last week's at all.

Great return to form with #4 through. The entire lolicon gag had me in hysterics.

Much like episode 2, we also had some nice serious moments too.

Excited for Hatoko's episode. Best girl.

whoaaa..... speechless
laughed too much.. and might get killed for over-cuteness in this episode
everyone might turned into Lolicon for seeing too many Chifuyu's smiles today

I never expect an arc involving elementary school girls might be enjoyable
Great episode

That was actually pretty fun.

Full props to Andou for actually going the lolicon route to help protect their secret while keeping the pressure off Chifuyu. He was so into it that you could actually believe it. All hail the Lolicon Knight .

Luckily nothing too crazy was happening with Chifuyu. It was nice to focus on her a little and get the story of how she ended up with that group in the first place. Was such a friendly and fun environment that she spent more and more time with them, until finally their powers suddenly appeared. At that point she really did need to spend more time with them since they were the only people who could really understand what she was going through.

Just a few nice little moments in there. Hatoko with Chifuyu, the reconciliation at the end, and of course the mass cosplay. No shock that Tomoyo actually put in "Bikini Armor" considering her own semi-hidden chuuni side . All I can say is thank goodness that Andou pulled the maid card instead of that....
