What his referring to is his super human speed, he was able to move fast enough that the villagers didn't realize he'd moved from his spot to the yoma's arm was chopped off and screaming (they were still staring where he used to be)

Raki has displayed super human speed, and super human strength ( he's able to swing a Claymore with one hand, which is impossible unless you're the hulk, and blocking the Yoma's attack without even flinching, and cutting him apart with ease )

No ordinary human can move so fast that it'll surprise a Yoma, theres no way in hell. And look at Raki's build, he's not mister universe either. Even a well trained person wouldn't be able to swing a claymore with one arm without dislocating a joint.
Edit: The mangaka, has specifically depicted that no human no matter how trained in the martial arts, can stand up to a Youma. Raki isn't normal anymore. |

He was only amassing numbers, not quality. I mean presuming there was only one generation of male claymores, and he had 31 under his command thats almost all the warriors irrespective of the strength anyway this topic is about Raki, so best avoid this topic to much lol |

A half Rigardo idea might not be too far fetched... man having a AB implanted would have some amazing results.
Isley probably found a way to create powerful soldiers and its quite possible that Raki was a test subject. |

Raki was using a great sword(even though the blade is somewhat broader here), and a greatsword is more in the ranges of 2-3.6 kilograms...tiring to use for a long time for the untrained sword user....but not superhuman. The claymore's blade in the manga is unusually thick...and the whole thing could weigh towards 4-5 kilo's ...way to heavy for someone to use proficiently without somekind of strength advantage.
Raki, with the first slash used both hands, he only released his hand's grip when the slashes go for a wider angle. He used a single handed move for the stab, wich is quite natural for the range since the youma backed up. Raki's lower arm seems a bit too thin though for someone fighting with swords for such a long time. |

IIRC, there was an argument about the translation for "Greatsword" and the kanji(?) used was actually claymore.
Edit: Oh, a claymore is lighter than a Greatsword btw. A Claymore weighs 5.5lbs on average, its blade is 7cm longer but considerably lighter, as a Greatsword is more dense than a claymore. A greatsword can weigh up to 16lbs. |
